Fantastic Pictures--Good, Big Numbers and Squares
This calendar is even better than I was expecting.I ordered three different calendars, and this was the best of the three.The pictures are REALLY interesting, and you will not get tired of ANY of them during the month.They range from closeups of really unusual rock formations, to Pacific Reefs (from the air), to flowing lava in Scicily.When my husband opened up the three calendars I had ordered, this was the only one that he really liked.The price is great, too.The squares are normal size, to write appointments in, and the numbers are big and dark enough to be seen well clear across the room (unlike many wall calendars). ... The title is misleading. If you are looking for photographs of THE Natural Wonders, look elsewhere. Even if you are looking for cool photographs, look elsewhere. Apart from the 2 photographs (including the cover), none others are breathtaking to justify the price. ... Read more

A calendar from someone who knows Yosemite
Howard Weamer knows Yosemite like few others.He's lived at Ostrander Lake in Yosemite's backcountry as caretaker of Outstrander Hut during the winter for the past 20 years.He's able to photograph Yosemite in places and at times that few will ever be able to match.His photography is stunning.Be careful, each month's picture will make you want to take off and travel to Yosemite. ... Grand "Grand Canyon" calendar
I love this calendar and have been ordering it for years.As someone who has hiked the canyon, I think Mr. Prentice's photos are first rate.My only quibble -- in past years there have been more North Rim photos than the more familiar South Rim views.A better balance would be nice. ... Read more
