5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome for kids
I bought this for my 8 and 10 year old daughters.I read the first two out loud to them.It was a great time for sharing what will come in the end.The girls were both able to keep up with the characters easily. They were concerned about everyone's welfare. It provided a great oppurtunity to further discuss the end times. And how easy it is for good people to go the wrong way.

1-0 out of 5 stars Found in our public school
I was familiar with the Left Behind series, mainly from seeing a few snippets of the badly-written, badly-acted movie. Then I learned there was a board game based on the books. A BOARD GAME!! I didn't know there was a series for children based on the adult series until my son came home from school -- PUBLIC SCHOOL! -- with one of these books. I'm sure one of the fundamentalist Christian boys down the street must have suggested these to my son. I was floored that this fundamentalist propaganda was in my public school library. While I'm a protestant and I am open to the study of all religions, to pound this in to impressionable kids' heads (did I mention my son is in ELEMENTARY school?) just amazes me. The people who love this stuff and highly recommend it for kids must be the same people who took their pre-schoolers to see hard-R-rated "The Passion of the Christ" to experience JUST have much Jesus loved them. Sad.... Let kids make up their own minds without scaring the bejezzes out of them.

1-0 out of 5 stars If Christ really behaves like this...
I want him completely and utterly out of my life!!! Please, I beg of you, read ANYTHING besides these unholy books that teach children that the way of God is the only way and they shouldn't question it and try to find their own religion!! Don't bring this upon them please!! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Why continue to be deceived...
Tim LaHaye, Jerry Jenkins, and others in the Pre-Trib circle, such as Ed Hindson, Tommy Ice, Chuck Missler, etc., continue to put forth the same deceptions that Hal Lindsey popularized decades ago.The notion of a pre-tribulation rapture is foreign to scripture, it is foreign to the teachings of the early Church, and it is grooming the Church for destruction through ignorance and lack of preparation for what is really coming. These men are novices and not prophecy "experts" or "scholars" by any stretch of the imagination; they are those who tickle the ears of gullible Christians. Why continue to be deceived?Tim Cohen, in his excellent book, "The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea," provides biblically sound and testable evidence to show that the coming AntiChrist is known NOW.Not only that, the same author (Tim Cohen) has now put out the strongest presentation on the whole issue of the rapture EVER offered to the saints of God in Christ: "The REAL Rapture".If you really want to know the truth about the timing of the coming rapture, then you need to hear Tim Cohen's "The REAL Rapture" (based on a volume in his forthcoming "Messiah, History, and the Tribulation Period" series (see Prophecy House's web site, prophecyhouse dot com, for details on these items).

"Someday, Jesus will return to take his followers to heaven.... We will disappear right in front of disbelieving people. Won't that be a great day for us and a horrifying one for them?" That was old Pastor Billings droning on again about the Rapture, and Judd was bored out of his skull. A sarcastic 16-year-old, way too cool for all this Jesus stuff, Judd had even lied about receiving Christ as his Lord and personal Savior. But poor hotheaded Judd is about to be very, very sorry.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars A "yes mistress" approach to accepting Christ
Aside from being horribly written, the Left Behind Kids series stops at nothing to frighten children into accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, because you certainly don't want to be here when the Rapture happens!
5-0 out of 5 stars Christian Read
I've had this book for years and I'm just now reading it. At first I didn't want nothing to do with it because I was into Wicca but after being saved I decided to give it a try. I was very amazed.

The book was okay I guess but I found it a bit of a scare tactic and used as a way to convert non-christians into going to church which you shouldn't do.
5-0 out of 5 stars Left Behind Second Chance-Series 2
LEFT BEHIND Second ChanceBy Jerry B. JenkinsThis book is GREAT if you're a Christian for a belief. I loved this book because it has an excellent use of language and has you sitting on the edge of your seat for the next exciting chapter to begin. This book is realistic fiction. The characters are Jud, Vicky, Ryan and Lionel. You will be upset at some times but it will clear up. I enjoyed this book so much. I hope you do to! ... Read more

After your children read these books you will never experience a discipline problem. All you have to do is mention that their bad behavior will cause them to be "Left Behind" and the little suckers will straighten up immediately!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great reading for teens and adults!
This was an excellent series.I've read all of them as an adult before letting any of my kids read them. The theology is as accurate as a fictionalized version of the rapture could be.

3-0 out of 5 stars Christian propaganda? Reah right.
Mark Moore has it wrong. This book may be Christian but it is not propaganda. It tells about something that I(and many others) believe is true. He also says that it is "ludicrous" to think that the world would be in chaos if the Christians disapeared. Yeah right. Let's see millions around the world disapear without warning and not have chaos! Especially if many top leaders disapeared. I think that his accusations are what is ludicrous. "An evil religion perpetuated by zealous idiots"? Give me a break! Christians are as normal as anyone else. Also, the book of Revelation in the Bible only takes about 20 pages because it does not go into much detail. This series of books are much longer because the story is put into "real life" situations(they aren't realy real because nothing like that has ever happened).
5-0 out of 5 stars Series for adults now rewritten for teens
I have always enjoyed the adult series of Left Behind books. The kids books are just as good. The kids interact with the characters from the adult series, experience the same events, etc. However, since the main characters are teens, these books can appeal to younger readers. So far, the stories haven't had the ups and downs that the adult series has had.The adult series has books that are a lot more boring than others. The kids series seems to be good in every book. These are not for really young kids, but would be appropriate for young teens.I enjoy them and I am an adult. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best in the series
I love the Left Behind:The Kids series. I've read all of the books that have already come out and am waiting anxiously for the next ones. Just so you know a new two come out every three months and the last two (39 and 40) come out in September 2004. This is a great book in a great series by a great author (well authors). If you want more info on the series then go to 5-0 out of 5 stars "Escape to Masada" Keeps You Reading
If you're kid or teen who's a fan of the series, I highly recommend this book to you. Once you start it, it's hard to put down. I'm 15, and I've been reading this series since 5th grade. I also enjoy the adult series, so if you're sick of reading kid books, then try those.

5-0 out of 5 stars Impressed yet again!
Yes!I have been anxiously awaiting the next installment of books 31 and 32 of the LBTK.I finally got them last night, and read Escape to Masada in the parking lot of a Home Depot, and couldn't put it down! This book was great! The plague of sores put on all who have taken the mark has come to its worse, and believers need a place for refudge! While Judd, Lionel, and Sam are helping in the flea to Masada and Petra, trouble is brewing in the West Coast.Manny, Mark, and Vicki go in search of an unbeliever, Claudia, that needs their help. However, a chase by the GC leads them to yet another detour. What's the story behind Manny? Can they really trust Claudia, even though she's GC?I urge any fan to go out and buy this book!I've just started 32, and only put it down to write this and tell you to go by them!I know the books have been a little slow lately, but they really seem to be speeding up!This series has it all, adventure, truth, drama, comedy, and dare I say a little romance???Well, I won't give it all away!Go read it yourselves! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Why continue to be deceived?
Tim LaHaye, Jerry Jenkins, and others in the Pre-Trib circle, such as Ed Hindson, Tommy (Thomas) Ice, Chuck Missler, Zola Levitt, Thomas McCall, John Hagee, Grant Jeffrey, Marlin Maddox, Perry Stone, Texe Marrs, John Walvoord (deceased), etc., continue to put forth the same deceptions that Hal Lindsey popularized decades ago.The notion of a pre-tribulation rapture is foreign to scripture, it is foreign to the teachings of the early Church, and it is grooming the Church for destruction through ignorance and lack of preparation for what is really coming. These men are novices and not prophecy "experts" or "scholars" by any stretch of the imagination; they are those who tickle the ears of gullible Christians. Why continue to be deceived?Tim Cohen, in his excellent book, "The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea," provides biblically sound and testable evidence to show that the coming AntiChrist is known NOW.Not only that, the same author (Tim Cohen) has now put out the strongest presentation on the whole issue of the rapture EVER offered to the saints of God in Christ: "The REAL Rapture".If you really want to know the truth about the timing of the coming rapture, then you need to hear Tim Cohen's "The REAL Rapture" (based on a volume in his forthcoming "Messiah, History, and the Tribulation Period" series (see Prophecy House's site for details on these items, which are also available via Amazon).

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!
This is definitely going to happen, and it it is going to happen soon!In this book, the "locusts" attack unbelievers who are not sealed with God's mark and cause them terrrible pain.Even in the midst of this situation, the Antichrist is still finding ways to trick people into believing in him.But will people finally see the truth? ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Adventures Continue
I am really enjoying the Left Behind: The Kids Live-Action audio series. Well-acted and every episode has captured my attention. As an adult, one of the reasons which drew me to the audio series is because LaHaye and Jenkins intertwines the Left Behind universe and its characters together, so if you are reading or listening to the audio series of Left Behind, I highly recommend listening to the Left Behind: The Kids for a little bit more in-depth coverage of recurring characters.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good book!
This is a very good book.It is very suspenseful! Will Judd and Lionel see their friends again or will they have to face the consequences of not taking the mark? Will the unsaved people in Petra believe or take the mark?Read this great book to find out!I only wish this book had more of Conrad, but other than that it's a great book. The series is great.Get the entire collection. There are 36 books.Books #37 and #38 should be available in early August.

5-0 out of 5 stars On the edge of your seat reading
I read this book the first day I got it and finished it within two hours.I did not want to put it down because I was anxious to see what happened next. It's wonderful how God put people in certain situations in the book which leads to more becoming believers. All I can say is hang on to your seats, it's an awesome book you won't want to put down! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!!
I loved the book so much that I couldn't put it down. I read it in less then 24 hours and I am a slow reader. I highly encourage you to read this book. It is safe to read because both the authors are strong Christians and the book is Bible based.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Books!!!
My 12-year-old son just devours these books, and I'm so happy about it! There are too many negative influences in today's society, and these books are nothing but a positive influence, in my opinion. My son says that these books are bringing him closer to God. How many people can say that what entertains their child does that? My son actually puts the Game Cube down to read these books..and believe me, that's a miracle!
4-0 out of 5 stars Christian propaganda? Yeah Right!
Mark Moore has it wrong. This book may be Christian, but it is not propaganda. It tells about something that I (and many other people) believe will happen.
