3-0 out of 5 stars Kiesha best book ?
No this is not her best book it is second hr best book is when she goes too hollywood .

5-0 out of 5 stars Great books for teaching life's lessons!
The Magic Attic club books are very good books for younger readers (7-10). They not only entertain the reader, they also teach lessons. In the book "Keisha to the Rescue", Keisha experiences discrimination. Thisbook teaches that money and a good name are not important in friends. Iread the series although my reading level is above the level of thesebooks. Keisha to the Rescue is a great book! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Hanging Onto Faith
"Viva, Heather" is a book that entertains while it educates about the Jewish faith. The reader is quickly drawn in by Heather's realistic feelings about her family and her faith. At the beginning of the book, Heather is embarrased by the visible signs of her faith as her family celebrates the Passover. All she can think about is the matzoh (unleavened bread/cracker) her peanut butter and jelly sandwich will be on for her school lunch. Heather is then morified when her grandmother invites her friends to the seder, and hopes that they won't accept. How will they understand the long stories and strange food? 4-0 out of 5 stars Viva, Heather!
I was thrilled to read this book to my daughter. Using a magic mirror fanatsy, it tells the story of a young Jewish girl as they were expelling the Jews from Spain, Thereby telling "Heather" the story of her ancestors. As a woman of Sephardic Jewish Heritage, this story was apleasant surprise. It tells an story not only of Jewish history, but ofthe strength of a young girl. A great way for girls to see what they canbe, either through fantasy or reality. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Book Review
This is really good book. Going into an attic and dressing up then going into another world through a mirror, who wouldn't want to? This is a book for kids about seven or older. This book is one of my favorite of the series.
5-0 out of 5 stars A great and fun book
I love the Magic Attic books. I got one of the books from my local bookstore and loved it so much that I decided to get the first story of the series. This book was great to read! The writer makes so fun that I wanted to join the girls on their adventure.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but a little un-realistic
I enjoyed this book.It had a good plot and was entertaining.Heather puts on a ballet costume and toe shoes and then is transported to New York to dance in a ballet by a magic mirror.I dance ballet and am on pointe myself and found a couple faults in the story.Heather lies to her friends about being on pointe but when she puts on the toe shoes in the attic she dances almost flawlessly. In real life though it takes months to dance without the support of a barre. Then her friend Jillian helps her break in her shoes with a hammer, but you're supposed to break them in by dancing in them and gently bending the soles of the shoes.Breaking them in any other ways could permently damage them.I would still recomend the book, though.

5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent book especially for people who do ballet.
I think this book is one of the best books I have read. It's about Heather going to the attic and finding herself as a guest star in Sleeping Beauty. She sprains her ankle,so she can't dance. In the end,she learns a lesson. I do ballet myself, but I'm not on toe yet.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Emotional for girls
Heather's Aunt is the star in the Sleeping Beauty, and sends enough tickets for her family. Heather promises her friends tickets for the ballet. But oh no!The tickets are all sold out. Heather sets aside thatproblem. She puts on pink tights,a tutu, and point shoes- you guessed it! A ballerina. She walks through the mirror and finds herself the star of Sleeping Beauty. During rehersal, she slips on a jete and sprains her ankle! She telling her friend, Jillian huge lies. She's in a tough situation, but being Heather manages confessing. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Unicorns and Princesses
If you are a girl who dream about dressing up as a princess and saving unicorns, you will enjoy reading about Megan from the Magic Attic series becoming a Princess after visiting the Magic Attic.A simplistic story, Princess Megan is stuck in the middle ages where she lives in a large stone castle and gets caught up in helping her friend save the magical unicorn.Megan is spunky and adapts easily to the new time period and her role as a medieval princess.A delightful story of time travel, this will keep any girl under the age of 12 years old entertained.
4-0 out of 5 stars Princess Megan
I think this book is about a girl who falls in love with a family dress and with it she thinks of herself as a princess/thats why they call it princess megan

3-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Illustrations--Short Story
This tale of Megan's journey back to medieval times was too short!I wanted to see more of the castle and the way of life.I would have enjoyed it also if the magic of the unicorn was explained more.Read more
