A great Mystery Puzzle
This was another very challenging and insight-provoking puzzle adventure from Usborne. They have done a great job with all of their books, and this is no exception. The story goes like this:After reading a comic book in his uncle's attic, Tim finds himself mysteriously transported toMainsville- a 1950s town inhabited by strange people, including a powerlesssuperhero, a "pack"(read the book and you'll get the joke) ofevil villains, and a friendly biker gang. On the way, you get to go to theBarber Shop, the Mainsville Hop, the sewer system, and some very otherinteresting Mainsville places. Of course, the book centers around theHypnostone. Once its two halves are reunited, the possessor will have thepower to rule the universe. This showdown reaches its climax at the MainStreet Carnival procession. I HATE IT!
I'm sure the tricks in this book are good, but they are too long and its very hard to understand them. Every time I try doing one of them it never works or its to long and confusing to learn and I get very frustrated. I would recomend getting a different card trick book instead because you'll just get pissed trying to learn the tricks in "Card Tricks Galore." ... Read more

This book has to be the first great magic book I ever had, for it contains the basic tricks for the beginner, more advanced tricks for the experienced, and a step further it contains a section on how to constructyour own tricks. younger audiences who plan on becoming magicians are givina great start with this book. It's easy to read with bolder words, plentyof diagrams, and simple dialogue. A fantastic book.

Most of this isn't even "magic"
Decent sized book, and the copy I picked up has a nice spiral binding and nice, thick pages...with pictures of all the tricks and such.That's the little to like about this book.Read more
