The Little Mermaid (Disney/Book and Cassette)
This the Disney story about Arial, the little mermaid & all her odd assortment of friends that live with her in the sea.My grand-daughter Britanie, is 4 years old & just loves this book/ tape so much that shewore it out. I love the idea that the cassettes follow the words in thebook so the children following the words read aloud, start to recognizewords that they hear.I am in the process of trying to purchase heranother set. This is only thing she asked me to get again her forChristmas.

The princess gets their attention!
And they become familiar with spanish along the way.Our native spanish speaking babysitter loves this book because it gets the girls' attention with the princess that they adore.I love it because it isn't the "fairy tale" love story.The kids are glad there is no scary character or situation.That's rare in a disney princess book! ... My View
This book is so warm and charming! Like a fantastical dream, its beautiful pictures of glowing characters and wondrous environments opens my mind to a world that becomes possible. And the story unfolds in a prose with twinkling twists on words. I giggle with comfort at A Fairy Tail's insight. I finish reading with a feeling that magic really exists in each of us and all around us even during times of tremendous trouble.

What a Precious Story!
I absolutely love this book.The illustrations are so incredible.The colors are vibrant and beautiful.I really love the message in the story and the fact that it rhymes from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book for children as well as the child in all of us.It's a fun read.

Up On The Shelf
Usually in a series like this, stories are haphazardly thrown together, using a variety of characters to tell tales not so interesting. Not so in this case. Having both stories and poetry, the tales give more depth and color to Ariel and her sisters not seen in the paperback stories. Ably abetted by beautiful artwork, the stories still carry the theme of living in harmony and understanding the value of working to gether.
