From A to Z
The sisters have plans for a weekend of fun and frivolity, but those dreams are quickly dashed when Sebastian has them in rehearsal for the Under The Sea Musical Gala, which is in two weeks. Owing to the tight schedule, there will be no free time, as it will be taken up with the rehearsals. Needless to say, there is great chafing between the sisters and tempers flare. Sebastian gets an invitation to the Dixieland Waters Jazz Festival, as is directed to go by King Triton. Aquata is ordered to lead the rehearsals, but she'd rather rehearse for a play instead, a play she wrote. However, Triton put the kibosh on that, wanting emphasis on the musical, so the sisters do double duty, learning both the music in the morning and the play at night. The double-duty schedule has them both tired and snappish, as now both artistic creations are suffering from the split efforts. Just when they are about to give up, Ariel hits on a plan to combine both the musical and the play as one. The book makes fun of itself, when the "Seven Sisters" all have names that start with "Z" and are not much different in character than the sisters themselves. Valuable lessons in working together and keeping an open mind come into play here, as well as the humor. ... Read more

My son received this book as a gift.It is not layers of accetate as the description says.It is several pages, of side-by-side illustrations of scenes from the movie.You are supposed to find 20 differences between the scenes on each page.Read more

A charming set of fairy tales
In this book Walter De La Mare has written four fairy tales, and the best one of them is "Lord Fish". In it he tells us for the story of John Cobbler, an indolent young man who likes to fish more than everythingelse. The desire for finding new places to angle fish there one day driveshim in the forsaken lands where once lived an evil wizard and there hefinds something as horrible as sorrowful, as beautiful and the adventure hetakes later, is going to change his life and the life of his mother.. Therest of the tales are very enjoyable too, but the first one is the best ofthem. Fun!
This is Walt Disney's version of "The Little Mermaid". It follows the animated movie. However, this small book is told by Sebastian the Crab's point-of-view.

This book is very interesting. It is a picture book story of Disney's "The Little Mermaid." It is unique among books in that is is the story told from the point of view of Sebastian the crab. The book expresses Sebastian's emotions and understandings, and is an interesting look at the Disney film.
