What a wonderful memory!
This was one of my favorite books from childood (late 60s/early 70s)!What a blast from the past!I'm so glad that it is now available for a new generation of kids. My favorite and most memorable book as a child and adult.

The Best in Counting!
I love this book - so does my little one.It was my favorite as a child and when I saw it in a store, I didn't even think about it.I just grabbed it and ran!It does an excellent job of teaching little ones their numbers and number recognition.It also has them count each thing that appears in the illustrations.The pictures are just darling and very life-like as well.You have to buy this book - it's really that good.

The best counting book ever!
This book is wonderful!The pictures are very colorful and peaceful to look at.Just as important, the flow and rhythm of the book is amazingly catching.I have had the entire book memorized for years, and that is without even trying. Grew up loving this book!
My dad read this book to my sister and I when we were small.We loved it more than any other book out there!The rhymes and illustrations were superior.We all still remember each and every number and group of animals associated with the number.My sister has given this book as a baby gift for years, and now that she is having a baby of her own, she is planning on having the nursery designed with the adorable animals!It is a must read and really helps little kids enjoy both math and reading throughout life!!! ... Loved it!
I loved this book!It is a captivating book.There are three chapters, almost 3 seperate books for a young reader.Little raccoon is such a great character - always getting into trouble or somehow finding trouble.It is actually a chapter book that young children can read to themselves - my copy is 64 pages.I happened to read a chapter a night to my 7 year old at bedtime; but she easily could have read it on her own. ... Fairy poem of the city
I am definitely charmed by Lilian Moore poems, but I also want to tell few words about illustrations.

A Wonderful Story For All Ages
The Canterville Ghost is a charming tale, one of Oscar Wilde's best. It is a ghost story, a comedy and a romance all rolled into one, told with the offbeat, rolling wit that only Wilde can tell.
A favorite ghost story
It's rare for a ghost story to be sympathetic towards the ghost or to flush out the ghosts character. Usually the ghost is just there to frighten the main characters and the readers. The Canterville Ghost however does make the ghost an interesting and understandable character without letting the suspense suffer.

The friendly ghost
This is a nice, short and easy story to read, it will show you the way people think about themselves and about others, you can read this fairy tale while waiting in the airport, it won't take you more that an our to read it, OK, maybe two hours and you will have a smile after you finish the book. ...
