It worked, not as planned, but worked
I bought this CD for my 9 year old nephew and I have to be honest that he hated it.BUT it still worked, I told him to learn them and we'd quit listening to the CD and he learned at lightening speed just to get away from it.The tunes can be a little folksy but I thought it was a good way to learn and it does stick in your head.

The BEST one!
I bought several Multiplication CD's and this was absolutely the best one.It includes skip counting which really has helped my daughter learn her multiplication facts.Buy this one!

Great for Kids!
My child has a processing disorder which make math extremely difficult.She has always been able to learn song lyrics easily, and this CD was no exception.Kids in 2nd grade can get a great start to 3rd grade math by learning to count by multiples of numbers 2 through 12.I would definitely recommend to all kids, especially those who like music, but not learning basic multiplication. ... Best I've Ever Seen!
I can't say enough good things about this bible/tape set.It isn't boring, droning on and on.It's lively enough to capture (and hold!) the attention of little ones.Contains 100+ Bible stories from every book of the Bible, with lovely illustrations, 70+ songs with printed music, and easy verses to memorize.The tapes aren't only of the songs, but of the full text of all 432 pages.
An essential part of your child's Christian library!
This is the best children's Bible out there.It has a story and a song for every verse of the Bible, plus memory verses for each book.If you have a child who is an auditory learner he/she will learn 66 songs and 66 verses!The dramatic reading and the flow of the stories is done very well.My kids have been listening to these CD's for four years (starting at age 3) and they still love them!In fact, we're on our second set--we wore the cassette tapes out!

A wonderful Children's Bible/CD set
My three year old and two year old love listening to these CD's they are a little young to do the read along but just the CD's are so worth what this Bible costs!There are Bible verses set to music as well as the stories!Some of the spoken parts are read by Max Lucado, Larnelle Harris, Rebecca St. James and Joni Eareckson Tada!The Bible itself has beautiful illustrations!Highly recommended!!!! ... Wee Sing Dinosaurs
Comes with a book of the songs, a cd & cassette.My oldest grandson had the original cassette when he was 3 or 4 years old.He loved it.He is now 17.
Lots of fun for a dino lover
We bought this tape for my dino-loving son.It's lots of fun to listen to in the car.Has songs about most breeds of dinosaurs including his favorites - deinonychus (with his terrible claw) and pteradactyl.I even enjoy it (after the 1,000 playing)

An all-time favorite of my 2.5 year old

The BEST Bible teacher for children!!
I am amazed at this series.My 4 year-old daughter has listened to it since she was born and she continues to ask for it 95% of the time we are driving in the car.It never gets old because all of the stories are true and accurately presented.Not only is the presentation fun and entertaining but it is amazingly accurate to the Bible in a concise way that children can grasp.It gives the listener a fabulous knowledge of the chronological events in the Bible since it follows the books of the Bible in order.
MUST BE DONE ON CD!!
This is one of the most entertaining kid's Bible songs.It is different than the overdone praise songs, and my church kids love it!we did a play using the songs a few years ago, it was amazing!I would love to do it again, but I need it on CD and in split track or instrumental (even better) pleaaaaaaaase :-)

What magic lies between the covers of this book!
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these wonderful stories again, and it was a bonus having all of Rudyard Kipling's stories together in one volume.This book has all the Mowgli stories, plus other favourites like "Riki-Tiki-Tav", "Toomai of the Elephants", and many more.Reading these again affirmed my belief of Kipling's great skill as a storyteller.These stories had appeal for me when I was younger, but they have a different appeal for me now.Kipling's descriptions and characterizations are wonderful, and they put the reader right there in the jungle with Mowgli and Bagheera, and all Mowgli's other friends.We who love to read should not forget to read these wonderful stories once in awhile.Modern short story authors still have to go some to even begin to match these classics by a great author.

Wow Book
The Jungle Book is a story about a young boy whose life is paid for with a bull brought down by Bagera, a black panther.Mowgali lived his life in the pack until a tiger (Sher Khan) convinced the pack to hate Mowgali because he is a man cub and is a potential threat to them in the future.So Mowgali makes his life among men in the village and then is threatened once again by Sher Khan and after Mowali destroyed Sher Khan he took the pelt to the pack and told them off.I really liked this book but it used old English that was hard to get the hang of at first.

My all time favorite!
I grew up on this tape!I am now in college and can't believe none of my colleagues have heard of Tubby the Tuba!Carol Channing is a wonderful narrator and I would suggest this tape to anyone who has children.I am 19 years old and I still love listening to it, but I guess I am just a kid at heart!

Come Holler with me!!
This is the second installment of Kids Songs from Nancy Cassidy. it is just as much fun as the first one, and just as much loved by my family (2 to teen to parents and grandparents). We annoy each other with "sandwiches," we laugh along to "Boom, boom, aint it great to be crazy," we jig to "Rig A Jig Jig," and we get "tuneful with every spoonful" of "Mrs. Murphy's chowder." This is great fun for the whole tribe!

Great!
I taught Italian K-12 and found this helpful in all levels.However,I only used the Cd in the older grades.I love this and the Teach me Italian pack because it is so difficult to find good Italian language teaching material at all.This one is great to use because there are the American favorites that kids already know.I have been through countless catalogs and info for Italian language materials and find this to be one of the best finds!

This is a great fun tool for teaching toddlers Italian. It comes with lots of fun songs, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Old McDonald, Snowman Boogie, Happy Birthday, a game of Simon Says, Silent Night, ect. It has a verbal and song section for each month of the year, with a corrosponding theme, for instance for October they play the song "Five Little Pumpkins". Could I be missing something?
I am suprised by the other reviews on here. I feel like I must be missing something.
To help you understand you kids!
My husband is Russian and my kids understand and speak Russian, This tape and book helped me learn to pick out words when I hear them in a conversation.Now my in-laws have conversations and I answer them in English. Russian for the younger set
I thought this was a very cute introduction to Russian.The tape is a great idea because you can tell if you are pronouncing words and phrases correctly.It could have been improved by using traditional Russian songsinstead of translated American songs.Also--I could live without the guyoversinging the songs in English.All in all,a very good way tosupportyour child's interest in Russian language. ... My favorite!
I listened to this tape as a kid growing up, as well as my brothers and sisters, and we all loved it! It has really good running around and slower, more peaceful music that is known. Our favoite was always "Knees up Mother Brown", which I still get stuck in my head today. Good memories!

Grrrrreat
This song book is great! My mom bought it for me numerous years ago, and still sing songs from it today! One of my favorites is the song about the chicken, it's great! If you are dubious about buying this for yourself or your children, I'm telling you right now that you should, you won't regret it. The songs are great and everyone can sing along to them like When the Saints Go Marching In, I mean everyone knows that song and I promise you that your experience in the car will get much better once you put this tape in the cassette player! great resource but too advanced for most beginners
This cd has songs that are interesting, catchy and fun.The lyrics cover excellent material for learning beginning Spanish.However, the recordings are generally too fast for beginners to catch on and learn.Most of the songs are so complex, that the vocabulary and concepts are lost in the shuffle.There are other products, even by this composer, that make a better purchase. The kids remember everything taught because of these songs!
Only by chance did I come to know about these wonderful tapes. I was vacationing in Quebec one summer, and a friend purchased the French version, "Francais pour debutants", for me.
