Zoe learns about God
My daughter, Zoe (21 months old) and I, loved this book. The basic language & rhymes used by the author are easy to read & entertaining for toddlers. The illustrations are vibrant & eye-catching. This was a great buy!!

This Bible is wonderful.The simple (often rhyming) text, cute illustrations, and charming design are expertly done.Even better, it includes most of the essential truths of the Bible, from creation to the resurrection and even a sample 'law' and 'psalm'.We just can't believe how much it includes while being so brief and baby-friendly!

Zoe learns to pray
My daughter, Zoe is 21 months old & we both loved this book. She is learning to pray & the short, often rhyming words make prays easy to remember. But most of all the vibrant illustrations captivate the toddler's interest. This was a great buy!

adorable book
The pictures are quite endearing and detailed with lots of things to point out and talk about. The little latch is a hit. We must operate it at every page!

Perfect for babies!
The moment my 2 yr. old daughter saw the book, she never let go.Every night, we both cuddle up & look at the very colorful pictures with cutouts on each page.I make up stories on each page & also read to her the simple prayers that she could learn as she grows. Since the pages are made of hard board, they are perfect for tiny, experimenting hands which turn each page awkwardly with too much excitement.Furthermore, the lock at the side makes it easier for those tiny hands to carry.No more flapping pages!These little inquisitive kids will not only learn to read but also harness their motors/skills by opening/closing the lock.Another big plus is the handle which allows the children to hold/carry the book very conveninently wherever, whenever. Great Bible for babies and toddlers.

Sweet, thoughtful illustrations and wording
This sweet, easy to read and easy to understand Bible will be great to read to your kids and when they're old enough, to read for themselves. Joyful Words For a Joyful Event
This is a wonderful baby book. There are wonderful scripture verses on the pages that match wonderfully with the event that its talking about. I love it and I pray that one day my son looks back at this beautiful book and realizes that love that was put in it. Truly wonderful book.

Short & Sweet
I bought this book for my third son.I thought the illustrations and messages where nice.This book includes many God related themes that you will not find in other books. I thought this book was a bit on theshort side;I brought seven year books for my other boys.Alsothe other baby books Ibrought were in binder format.I like this format a lot better as you can take out the pages to write or rearrange, plus you can add your own pages. I would recommend that format over the book format this one has.This book is mainly nice if you do not have much time and just want a short and sweet baby book with the emphasis on God.

Perfect for toddlers!
I finally found the nativity story/book that kept my daughter's interest from start to end (& still going...). Baby's First Nativity
This a very colorful and wonderfully illustrated childrens book. It tells the story of Jesus' birth in a rhyming way that keeps my son interested. I purchased the book for my 1.5 yr old son at Christmas time and 4 monthslater he is still carrying it around by the handle every where we go. Heloves to hear the story of Jesus' birth over and over, and now one of thefirst words that he has learned to say is "Jesus".I am pleasedthat I bought this book and next I will purchase either "Baby's FirstBible" or "Baby's First Catholic Bible" to add to ourreading selection.

Our son liked it much more than I though he would!
Our almost 2 year-old loved the handle and clasp used to close the book.He carries it around all the time.I read a lot of baby/toddler books about the Christmas story and this was the one I settled on.The naturalrhymes and simple pictures work well for toddlers.I especially like thatthe story presents the wise men arriving LATER when baby Jesus is living ina cottage, not a babe in the manger.The is one book we'll read for yearsto come!(It's January and he still asks for it nightly....) ... Surely one of the best Christmas board books ever
This board book has beautiful illustrations.The neat thing about the design is that each page has a different shaped top.It layers the scene of the town of Bethlehem.Since it is a board book, the village buildings look like they are standing out from the star near the back of the book.
