4-0 out of 5 stars Tried to give this book 4 and a half stars . . .
This was a good book.I liked it all the way through.I think he should have done a sequel to it, telling what happened to the Dainid and Alyssa.

5-0 out of 5 stars An awesome science fiction book.
Alyssa and her best friend, Caitlin, are on a dinosaur dig inthe midwest. After some eggs are dug up, strange occurances andattacks begin to take place. None of the attacked people die - they all become ill, and then vanish. Alyssa begins to wonder - are the victims turning into dinosaurs?Read this exciting book to find out. It was a fun, quick read.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME,CREATIVE, ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the idea of dinosours coming to life.At times in this book I wanted to laugh, others cry.Alissa (main charecter) is smart to think something is going on when an odd fern grows in the middle of the desert. This book has great twists like how Caitlin, Alissas best friend, becomes adinosour.Just the right amount of adventure, horror, and fanstey. If youliked Mr. Peel's work with "Diadem" you're going to LOVE this!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!!
This is maybe my favorite Outer Limits book. The book is artfully woven with splendid plot twists the whole way through. The coolest thing is, if you think about it, you can actually believe that this COULD happen. With the way we're acting now, our world could be that polluted one day, and we might well have the technology to allow a psycho like that to make that time machine. This is one of the freakiest aspects of it.MUST BUY! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars If you like the evironment, science,or robots read this book.
This is a good book for people who like science fiction stories. It is also pretty short so if you don't have the patience to sit down and read for a couple hours this is a good book. When I say it's short don't getthe idea that the plot long enough to be good, the plot is wonderful. Inconclusion I recommend that everyone read this book. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars The Outer Limit The zanti misfits
The title of the book is The Outer Limt and the author is John Peel. The characters are teachers, townpeople, kids and parents it takes place in the town. The problem is that aliens are tring to takeover the earth and killing people. Some kids at school are working on homework and suddenly they see sapce ships. I recommend this book to kids or adults that like aliens and spaships.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Outer Limits books.
Aside from The Innocent and The Invaders, this was probably my favorite Outer Limits book so far. I like how John Peel was able to take a television episode and add some fresh backstory, change a few characters around, etc. The character of Lisa changed the most. In the episode, shewas an unlikable, cheating woman. In the books, she's an impressionableyoung girl who is simply misguided. Anyway, I highly reccomend this book toteens who like sci fi.

5-0 out of 5 stars VERY GOOD BOOK!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not the best from the series, but still good.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kids rebuild their lives on a decimitated alien planet.
I found this book to be one of the best from The Outer Limits series. On a planet called Tarshish in the far reaches of space, a group of humans from an overcrowded Earth of the future build a colony from scratch. But whenhostile alien monsters attack, only the children survive. Now, they mustrebuild their homes without adult guidance, survive harsh conditions - andyears later, fight for their right to remain on the planet they nowconsider home. While this was a short book, it was a quick, exciting read.I could see how much these kids cared for their home and how they thoughtof each other as one big family and helped each other out. Kudos to theauthor for a story that is both exciting and heartwarming.

5-0 out of 5 stars Attack of Mutant Insects!
The students of Tarshish are shoked when giant cannibalistic worms swarm their colony on Tarshish. The school is protected, but all the adults are killed in the feeding. Now Will, Jenna, and the others must simply survivewith the help of the computer. This is such a great book!I recommend itto ANYONE!!

4-0 out of 5 stars NOT BAD!
THIS BOOK IS ABOUT KIDS WHO SURVIVED AN ALIEN ATTACK ON TARSHISH.THE FIRST PART WAS PRETTY GOOD BUT THE REST OF THE STORY WASN'T THAT GOOD.THOSE KIDS THINK THEY'ER SMART AND THEY DON'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THEIR PARENTS!THEYCRIED WHEN ALL THE ADULTS DIED.THEN SEVEN YEARS LATER A RESCUE SHIP CAMEAND THE RESCUERS GOT ATTACKED BY THE KIDS.THAT WAS PRETTY DUMB.IT WAS THESTUPIDEST PLOT I'VE SEEN.THEN THEY START A WAR AND THE KIDS WON.IF YOU HAVETO,AVOID THIS BOOK AT ALL COSTS! ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Worst in the series . . .
I found this Outer Limits book very boring.I just could not get into it, which surprised me, since most all of the books in this series grab me by the first page, and if not, than by the end of the first chapter. This was not the case with this one.Even the "climax" was uneventful. The first time I started to read it, I put it down after chapter one, and decided not to read it.I only read the whole thing because it was the only thing I could find.If you want to read this book, check it out of a library. It's a total waste of money.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Choice ( Outer Limits, No 2) by John Peel
This book was very good because it is about a girl named Aggie Travers. She is picked on at school by kids her own age then uses her power to hurt them. The Princple wants her to go to a different school. ( meaning kicking her out of this school) Then she is befriend by Karen Ross, her tutor. Karen is like Aggie, but Aggie is much stronger the Karen and Karen's friend Jean. Jean kills herself because the goverment has found them and Karen is in despair. Meanwhile the goverment people are at Aggie's home and Aggie appears at her house running with trears down her face.Soon Karen catches up with Aggie because Aggie saw a dead body (Jeans). The Goverment then grabs Karen and holds a pistol on her temple. Meanwhile Aggie's parents are not understanding why this is happening and Aggie is trying to send a thought to Karen. After Aggie reads the goverment agent (Walsh) mind and sees what the goverment does when they get kids like her. They kill them.To find out what happens read this book!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Aggie's not like other kids.

Awomen named Karen, who is Aggie's tutor, says she can help her control the powers.Meanwhile, a government agent says Karen wants to kidnap Aggie. Who is telling the truth?
