If you like American Girl stuff this is a great and inexpensive party game
My initial reaction to the game was to wonder if I could jazz it up a bit, maybe add some clues, or make them harder to find. But, time got away from me and I just followed the instructions and the girls had a terrific time. It took us about an hour to set up (before the party) and 45 minutes to play.

Great Book
This is a good book! It comes with nice themes,snacks,games, and crafts. A few ideas could have been better, but overall AG did a great job.I am planning a slumber party and this book has helped. I recommend you check this book out from the library before actually buying it.

Great Book
This is a great book to use if your having a sleepover.It gives you tons of ideas for yummy treats, fun games, and cool decorations.I would buy this book right away if your going to have a sleep-over.For my 10th birthday I used this, and it was really helpful.Everyone really enjoyed making to treats.The only thing bad about this book is that it's not long enough!!!

I love the ideas!
This book shows wonderful games amd treats for American Girl Parties that you can have at home.It even gives information about why and what kind of parties Felicity, Josefina, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha and Molly had.My sisters said that they both want to have parties about their American Girl.

So Many Great Ideas!
I bought this book for my daughter, about to celebrate her 10th birthday.I think we will need to have several birthday sleepover bashes, as there are way too many great ideas in this book for her to choose enough for only one night!Really creative invitations, inexpensive crafts, age appropriate food preparation, laugh giggle and squeal games, with clear instructions for the 8-12 age group.Great for this age, where she really wants to be involved in the planning. I don't know if the girls will get any sleep, but it looks like we're going to have a terrific party. Or two. Or more?

My daughter checked this book out at the library, and LOVED it!!She's read other sleepover books, but none were as good as this one.She really recommends it!!We plan on purchasing our own copy.

Great party tool
We bought this book on the occasion of our twin daughter's fourth birthday. It just so happened that developmentally they had started getting into playing games a few months before. We had initially thought just to break open the book at the party, but as usual, the girls spotted it on its arrival from Amazon. We ended up reading it almost every night, and they loved learning how to play the various games, and were excited about teaching their friends. To be honest, we didn't use all the games at the actual birthday party- too many things were going on. Still we were able to play a few of the games, like pin the tail. Kit's Mystery Party Game
The game was well written and fun for the girls.I played the adult role to move things along.The costume suggestions were easy to do and really added to the fun for the party.My only complaint was the game went much faster than suggested on the box.We were finished in 30 minutes instead of one hour!The girls that participated were 9-10 year olds.They wished it were longer as well or had a second mystery to solve. ... A Mam-ma's tool for giving a pre-teen party!
It is very important to me to stay a "cool" mam-ma to my grand-girls!This book was a real winner!I was able to give a great party for my girls that I took most of the credit for.Book made it soooo simple....and it was so much fun.A must have tool for having fun!

This is a great book for planning parties for pre-teen and teen girls. The ideas are well-thought out and easy to do. We're going to do the spa party for my daughter's 12th birthday. I might try a variation of the spy party for my son. If you ever feel like you're at a loss when planning a party, get this book. You don't even have to do all the ideas for any of the parties -- doing even part of any of the parties will make things really fun.

Great Slumber Party Book
Crafty Girl- Slumber Parties was a great book. It came with fourteen different themes, recipes, invitations, and games. The book had some really unique ideas, such as Fashion Fantasia and Ariabian Night. It also gives movie and music recommendations for each theme. I thought they could have had more game ideas. It was mainly just twists on other games. My favorite themes are Slumber party in the Beauty Salon and Sweet Dreams.Jennifer really did a good job on the book. This is definitely a enjoyable book if you want a twist on the same boring sleepover. Read up and enjoy!

When I first got this book I read it over and over and over and never actually had a slumber party with one of the themes. I january I'm having a "Slumber Party in the Beauty Salon" Trust me, this book is a must-have for any slumber party hostess.

Very cute book
I thought that this book was great.We checked it out from the library and my six year old son has chosen the teddy bear party.He was not too thrilled with the bowls of porage cakes, but all the other ideas are great and really get the kids involved. Great Book!
