We want more
This whole series was a hit, it kept me reading and since it abruptly ends at this book (#6) I've been reading the 6 books over and over again, hoping for a change in heart by the author and a real ending, mind you that not rushing an ending in one book would be nice. Yes it is good for us, the readers, to use our imaginations a bit, but this was a complete cliff-hanger. The imagination/creativity is breath taking, never a cheezy moment. Mainly this book takes the story more towards an fantasy/horror story plot. Pixel is in trouble and of course Score/matt and renald/heliene jump right in to save him.... there seems to be little chance for sucsess.... what will happen?

i loved the whole Diadem series so much when i was 10 and i started rereading it again and i still definately adore it even though im now 15. i was so mad when i found that this book was his last book in the series. i really want him to make at least one other book i mean he has to the cover picture still isnt complete. i love these books so much. ... Slow Start, Better Ending
Book Ten of Diadem Worlds of Magic got off to a slow and rocky start. Since this was the first time I had read a book from this series, I was at a bit of a loss as to who the good guys and who the bad guys were. I guess the proceeding book left off at a cliffhanger or something, but I'd have to say honestly, if I hadn't been reviewing this volume, I would have stopped at chapter one. Even the prologue did little to bring me up-to-date on the main characters.

Waited a long time, and glad of it.
Honestly? I adored this book. I read it when I was what, 9? Now I'm 17 and it still had me grinning from ear to ear, including on the very last page. Peel doesn't write in that annoying Dick and Jane style, and so even though it's a kids book it's enjoyable for everyone.
What did seven years do?
The Diadem series captivated me a couple years ago and I couldn't wait for Mr. Peel to finish the series.When I found out the 7th book was coming out, I was giddy with joy.I thought it'd be brilliant.Sadly, I was mistaken.The Book of War just didn't captivate the style and small details of the previous books.Some were small things like when Helaine said, "Danger" instead of the usual, "Trouble."The book just didn't flow as well as the others did. ... "It's different, but it still rocks"
Certainly, this new set of books is different from the original six.Helaine is reportedly a brunette when she used to be a blonde, they add a new character, and everyone does a few very uncharacteristic things.But then, as time changes, people change.

Diadem Books
Amazing. I have had my diadem set for 4 years, and I never tire of sitting on my couch and reading for yet another time, Diadem. John Peel writes with the feel and certaincy of an established writer, for that is who he is. The book is very, very good. Just a question, why is the fourth book so rare?

Diadem
I have only read 1, 2 & 3 but i absoulutley love the whole series. I especialy like oracle because I wrote down all of the riddles and fond a pattern.

Great Book
I truely recomend this book. It was a great story about how a clone tried to take over the world. I think that the author had to open his mind to create such great advances.Great dialogue and descriptions of the settings. It tells about situations that now on we are facing. I think that the author should create a 7th book of this series. The ending means that the adventure continous.

A wonderful ending to a positively wonderful series!I loved it, and read it a couple times every year!The only problem with the book is the way it ends... as if there are even more books..Great charecters, good dialogue, good plot development.Must read!

YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This book is the best that I've ever read! Tristan, a naive person who is chained to his conscience and Genia, a streetpunk thief from the underworld are forced to work with a gang of crooks and Tristan's ex-girlfriend, Mora, who has become hard-hearted after living in the underworld. I could not put it down. I wasn't intrested in anything else but the book. Unlike Paul Jennings,Morris Gleitzman, and John Marsden where their six part stories seemed to repeat itself throughout the series, John Peel is original. Well worth your money.

They can only survive the revolution....
No one can stop the ongoing revolution. Tristan and Genia, after a heart-stopping escape from Ice, must get onto business and save Earth from Tristan's devious clone Devon. Unfortunately, Tristan meets his betrayer. He discovers shocking things about why he was betrayed. But that doesn't make the fight for Earth any less serious. The world is one the brink of total destruction, and only Tristan , who is trying to gain the trust of Inspector Shimoda, can stop that.

No time for disappointment!
This book was excellent! Genia finds herself warming up to Tristan. It's also revealed in this book that there are three clones in the universe that have been freed from their lab, where other clones remain, still in theirjars-- there's Jame Wilson, a young, 14-year-old that lives in Space,there's Tristan Connor, and Devon. Devon has a sick potential to take overthe world, and Quietus with that. This book concentrates on Tristan'sescape from Ice, and betrayal from Genia's own father. This book/series isrelated to Marilyn Kaye's "replica." There's also 12 clones,except the character's genders are different. This book isn't adisappointment--read it! ... Read more

TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!
This is one of the best books in the series! ... Tristan and Genia and Mora are trying to track down Devon, but are having some problems. Jame, the 3rd twin is in the thick of the revolution on Mars. Shimoda is getting closer to stopping Quietus once and for all. But Devon takes over the moon and now is holding the world hostage. Tristan, Genia, and Mora are running out of time. In the final book Earth's fate is in the balance. If you liked the first 4 books.You'll like this one!!

Meltdown is coming.
What is probably the most disappointing book inthe 2099 series is still a book that readers will find difficult to put down, particularly because the plot races along with each passing chapter and the ultimate showdown grows closer... In 2099 #5: MELTDOWN the trouble for Tristan grows. He and Genia are trapped in a world so utterly close to its own destruction, a world in which meltdown is causing it to come to a shattering end. 2099 #3: Traitor

Not Catchy Enough
Twice,I have began this book,found it quite interesting,put it aside and forgotten all about it.I think this shows that it isn't what you call a page turner.

Great book for kids into fantasy
I read this book back when I was in third grade or so, and absolutely loved it. This series quickly became the far-and-away favorite of my group of friends. Even ten years later, we still have fond recollections of this book and the rest of its series. I definitely recommend this book to any young reader - it is enthralling. If you want your kids to get into fantasy, give them this book!

I, Jedi Wannabe
Luke Skywalker tells his own story in this short, enjoyable "young readers" tale.Imagine A New Hope told in the form of "personal logs" from Star Trek and you'll have the idea.John Peel draws on such diverse materials as the radio show and the old Marvel comics to flesh out Luke's story, and takes some minor liberties with the movie itself.When all is said and done, we are presented with a Luke who must all at once deal with painful loss and grow up more quickly than anyone should have to.While this one is not as good as Princess Leia's journal, it is nevertheless worth the hour it will take to read.

A wonderfull book that focuses in on what Luke thinks
I read this book one day when I was grounded and it was so sitting-on-the-edge-of-my-seat, rivetingly good that I didn't want to come out!It is written in journal form about what Luke was thinking and feeling during A New Hope, though this book spans a little before it too.This was especially interesting for me, since Luke has always been my favorite character.Part of why I loved it is that it was not simply yet another retelling of the original story, but breathed new life into it, and made iteven more interesting, and considering that I have seen this movie so many times I practicly have it memerized, that is quite a feat.My one complaint of this book was that, though the character of Luke was explored deeply and in ways that few other books have, all the other characters were pretty much left out with the exception of Leia, since Luke was thinking quite a lot about her at this time.But then again, when I write in my journal I usually don't focus on other people either, and since this is supposed to be Luke's journal, that does make sense.In short, this was a wonderfull book that I would reccamend to any Star Wars fan, especially those who love Luke.

This is a GREAT journal that has LOTS of of info you didn't know about Luke Skywalker. You'll really enjoy this book and/or learn something new. Ibought a copy a while ago, and I have read this more than 10 times I think.You really get into the book after reading atleast the first chapter. Tried to give this book 4 and a half stars . . .
This was a good book.I liked it all the way through.I think he should have done a sequel to it, telling what happened to the Dainid and Alyssa.

An awesome science fiction book.
Alyssa and her best friend, Caitlin, are on a dinosaur dig inthe midwest. After some eggs are dug up, strange occurances andattacks begin to take place. None of the attacked people die - they all become ill, and then vanish. Alyssa begins to wonder - are the victims turning into dinosaurs?Read this exciting book to find out. It was a fun, quick read.
