4-0 out of 5 stars To be continued...
Pike continues to wow me with this series, and I look forward to reading more of his future novels. The only thing that upsets me is that I still want him to return to his young adult storytelling...200-pages of solid, fast-paced action. The 'Alosha' series, like his adult novels, could be great if more to the point. Instead, we are settling for just "good". I have suggested a title change at Amazon.com because 'Trilogy' is wrong. Book 4 is on the way. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Interesting Vampire Story
The Last Vampire is a good horror novel, but fails to draw you in completely. The main character, Alisa Perne, or Sita, is a stunning, petite blonde who has lived as a wandering vampire for five thousand years. It gets tiring hearing her talk about how beautiful she is, and how she knows men love to look at her body.It is also tiring as she lists endless super-human traits she owns that make her invincible.Pike seems like he just couldn't stop listing abilities. His writing is flawed in places.
5-0 out of 5 stars The last vampire #1
This book was really good i could hardly put it down. Sita or Alisa Perne is telling the story of her life. She also explaines her fears. When she falls in love with a boy named, Ray Riley, she finds out that he is in danger.Pat, Ray's girlfriend, is suspicious of Alisa. I could tell that Pat was very upset. I like this book because I love to read about vampires. I think others should read it. It's a good book! So drop what your doing and read it or Sita will get you! Beware of vampires.........
5-0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK TOPS ALL VAMPIRE BOOKS

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok
I read the first three books before I read this one, so I understood everything that was going on. Towards the end though, the book got really confusing. This book also wasn't as good as the first three because I think there was a lot of unnecessary things added to the story that made it somewhat boring at times. But overall the book was ok.

5-0 out of 5 stars ~da best~
absolutely da best!!!!!! this is probably the best book in the series and it will touch ur heart.... seriously... man this is good!~~!

3-0 out of 5 stars I felt this was the downfall of the series
I stated in a review of one of the other books that the books, in my opinion, got dumber with each one. This I feel is the downfall of the series. Its interesting in a sense, yet not entirely. The only kicker I find to this book (that prevented me from giving it 2 stars) was the ending when it is revealed what the child is. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars best book I have read
I relly do not like reading but this book got my attention because it is trilling I think it is thrilling besause the vampires are relly strong, fast, smart, and they can hear and see relly good beter the any thing.

3-0 out of 5 stars Slightly Better Than The First Book
Ray is adjusting to being a vampire. He is depressed about having to sever contact with his family and friends, and appalled at having to drink human blood. But Ray doesn't have too much time to figure things out. There has been a series of brutal murders in LA.Sita knows a vampire is responsible.
4-0 out of 5 stars Love it
Absolutely love this book, and the entire "The Last Vampire" series in general.Following Sita's journey is an exciting and wonderful adventure, and this book is no exception.Sita is 5,000 years old and thought all vampires (aside from herself and her lover Ray) were gone, until a series of unusal murders force her to realize she was mistaken. She must meet this new foe, destroy him, and try to do so without destroying herself.A great (and quick) read. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Getting back to par
Christopher Pike's last few books before he took a five year break from publishing his novels left many of his fans confused. The books did not live up to his reputation. "Execution of Innocence" had a fake twist--I will not give it away. "Magic Fire" and "Hollow Skull" felt rushed. And the first chapter of "The Grave" is the only part I liked.
3-0 out of 5 stars Somewhat dissapointing
I have to say the first half of the book was dissapointing, but the book slowly redeemed itself with the second half, with alot of unexpected things happening and plot changes.
4-0 out of 5 stars excellent sequel
This book is a great follow up to Alosha.Luckily, i waited until this was released before i read my copy of Alosha, so it was still fresh in my memory. My advice to anyone who read Alosha and wants to read this book is, DO NOT read the description of this book on the insided cover.I did not read it until after i read the book, and i am really glad that i did not because it practically gives away the whole plot of this book two of the trilogy. This book has quite a few plot twists and its an exciting book.It is very fun to watch Ali evolve, and keeps you wondering just how powerful she really is and will become.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Personal Favorite
Everyone who enjoys reading as much as i do, will agree that there is always ONE story that sticks with you.For me, it is 'Season of Passage'.I'm not even sure why--it just does.I have no insightful words to persuade anyone of this, nor do I have any witty comments to throw in, I just know I love this book.I have probably read this a dozen times...at least. From the first time I read this story, to the last time I read this story, it moves me.It is a beautiful story of life, love, and death. At least to me it is.Take what you want from the story, just so long as you read it is enough. It was the most beautifully written Christopher Pike book I have ever encountered thus far.I hope it proves the same for someone else.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book
Very Suspensful, somewhat frightening! Its a book that all fans of Mr. Pike should read!

2-0 out of 5 stars Good story with mediocre writing
I used to love Christopher Pike when I was in junior high, and read Chain Letter and Remeber Me and all his classics. So when someone told me he wrote adult fiction, I was quite excited.

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVED IT!
In fact I LOVED the entire series!I think I read every book over at LEAST 4 times!I especially loved the character Kalika, loved the way he described her, loved her fathomlessness... I feel speechless right now, I don't even know what I say! That's how good it is... The book is religious, yet not so seriously so that you will punished if you do not agree or w/e, but simply, you'll be sucked so deep into the book you might even smart believing Sita's believes...

5-0 out of 5 stars i love it!
i read this book in year 7 this year and it is soooo cool! It is full of action as well as sad and happy emotions combined excellently. i think everyone should read it even people who don't read much will love this book. It is one of the best book i have ever read in my life!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not that bad
People have written some pretty bad reviews about this book, but it isn't so terrible. He has done better, I will admit that, but this is not a bad story. It is still original and innovative with an interesting plot and ideas involving DNA. This is also more of a science fiction novel than a horror novel, and this might throw some people off. 4-0 out of 5 stars Not that bad

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I really can't see why these other people didn't like The Grave. 3-0 out of 5 stars Entertaining with an implausible ending
I have very mixed feelings about this book.I brought it on vacation, so it was the only thing I had to read, or it might have falled by the wayside.Once I got into it a bit, it had me hooked, but only because it was so weird I wanted to find out just what the heck was going on with the convoluted synchronicites that where popping up everywhere in David's life.
5-0 out of 5 stars A book with a great twist...I could bend your neck!
All of Christopher Pike's books are great, and this one is no different.I definitely recommend it and while you are at it get into his "Last Vampire" series which are really good...Nigel.

1-0 out of 5 stars Oh Mr. Pike...
I have never written an online book review before but I was compelled to do so with this book to warn true Pike fans to steer clear of this wasted effort. Blind Mirror is probably one of the worst books I have ever read. I felt like I was reading a book written by someone desperately trying to imitate Pike.. not Pike himself. The supporting characters were all poorly written, even the main character himself lacked the substance to carry the book. As other reviewers have said the way in which he "stumbled" upon clues and just went along with the string pulling of others was ridiculous. The dialogues between characters were lifeless, and his constant use of nonsensical metaphors and tacky love scenes were painful to read. The ending is an utter disappointment that stretches the most vivid imagination when the book just stops abruptly without any real closure to satisfy the reader. If you're looking for stimulating fiction in this genre buy a copy of Season of Passage. I will always be a fan of Christopher Pike but this is one that should stay on the shelf... forever. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Like all Christopher Pike books - AMAZING
I love ALL Christopher Pike's book, and this one has to be one of my favourites.
5-0 out of 5 stars Don't miss it
Here it is. Christopher Pike's masterpiece. Yes, he's a teen horror writer. No, his books won't outlast Austen's or Dickens.' So what? Like Stephen King, he's a damn good writer, one of the best of our era, and in Midnight Club he's at his peak. Read this one for its sheer inventiveness, read The Last Vampire for action, and read Whisper of Death for the ultimate chill. Read all of them for expertly crafted setting and mood, tight plotting, and characters that are both unpretentiously created and totally compelling. While most of his characters are "normal," their traits are heightened enough from those of ordinary people to make them truly engaging.
1-0 out of 5 stars The work of a sick and twisted mind.
"Whenever you look at him, it looks like you want to..." This quote ought to give you an idea of the tact this book takes. Disgusted, we didn't bother to finish it. The story seemed to be about one thing: sex. The gratuitous sexual content in the book truly disgusted us. If you have a copy, tear it up in little tiny pieces. We did.Christopher Pike has a dirty mind.

A good and supernatural book!It makes me wonder what dead is like...Nigel..

5-0 out of 5 stars AMAZING
Like all Christopher Pike books, this is another amazing one added to it.The moment when Jimmy realized that his sister came back to life was amazing, and when Lenny realized who he was before he nearly killed Shari. This book didn't have so much a deep meaning or conclusion, but it's the perfect book LEADING to book three.

This books is great, the storyline is wonderfully written. The idea is original and it literally draws you in...I definitely recommend this book.It is very sad at certain points and you even feel as though you are in the story...Yes,it is that good...Nigel.

4-0 out of 5 stars Remember Me by Christopher Pike
The book Remember Me, by Christopher Pike, is a well written book about a young girl trying to solve a murder. Her murder. From beyond the grave.I thought the topic itself was very unique and intriguing itself. The concept of a girl struggling to prove herself innocent of suicide was originally and moving.I really liked how Christopher Pike didn't lower himself like most adult authors, but wrote as if young adults have a mind of their own, a brilliant mind at that.
5-0 out of 5 stars Forever a Pike fan...
Christopher Pike...I always wished I could meet this author in person to tell him how profoundly his books touched me.I am glad to see I'm not crazy and that 10-15 years later, I'm not the only one who will never forget his books and still remember the characters as vividly as the very first day I read about them.

5-0 out of 5 stars The first Christopher Pike Book I ever read
I read this book when I was 15 which was years ago.I loved it and I was hooked on Christopher Pike books for the duration of my teenage years!Yes, it is listed as a book for young teens, but Pike's stories are gripping and great entertainment at the sametime.I read great works of literature during my high school years, but I liked to read fun books too.At least I was reading.A group of friends, a vacation, young people in love and/or lust,a mystery--it may sound like a formula story but its a formula that works.I've moved on from these teenage thrillers, but every now and then I think back to the books that I stayed up all night reading in my youth, and I remember Weekend, Spellbound, See You Later, Final Friends, Remember Me, etc.I need some summer reading and I just may read the books he's published since I graduated from high school.Maybe I'll start by re-reading Weekend. My 12 year old niece loves his work too.Maybe we can swap books.

5-0 out of 5 stars Read this when I was a kid
I am now in my late twenties and I read almost all of Pike's books when I was 12-14 or so.I loved them and they didn't screw me up or teach me bad morals (geez, people, teach your kids the difference between fiction and reality and don't count on horror novels to teach your kids morals.seriously.)Anyway, I am now a functional adult and look back on those books fondly.I recommend them to anyone in their teens.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book was the bomb
I recomend it for ages thirteen and up because it has alot sex, drugs, and alcohal referance. It also has alot of violence. But this book was so great i cant even begin to describe. It was my FIrst christopher Pike bookthat i read. He is an outstanding author. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Continuation of the life of Alisa--a Vampire
This is the third book in the vampire series about Alisa. In this book, she attempts to keep her DNA from the hands of someone who would test it and use the results to gain immortality. In this, she runs into an old "friend" who makes the story more exciting.Another wonderful book to add to your collection. I highly suggest it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Book
I have recently read this book and I was amazed at how well written it was. It was exiting and I never wanted to put it down. The only thing I didn't like about it was the way Christopher Pike shows vampires. He really tears down the way most people think of them as. Other than that, this is an excellent book and I throughly reccomend it!!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Last Vampire Book
The first forty pages of this book(the first chapter) was more action packed than any book I've read.Like in his other books Pike goes into great depth, throws in romance, lots of violence, and some blow-em-up scenes. If you don't like books like that, this may not be a book for you, but if you like action in movies and/or this would be a great book for you(read the first two before hand).Something that Pike does in all of his Last Vampire books is vagely describe what has happened in the previous books.I don't like that because you should read them and know what's going on.Over all it was a great book them and I would hope anyone else would give it five stars.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not One of Pike's Best, But Still An OK Read
Chain Letter is one of Pike's earliest novels, written in 1986.Pike peppers this book with cultural references from the '80's, which make it a bit dated. How many teens in 2006 will have a clue who Natassja Kinski is and that she was in a sexy photo with a boa constrictor?
5-0 out of 5 stars Great book
This was the first Christopher Pike book I read, and is still one of my favorite ever.If you want to read something good, than this is the bookl.I liked how the letter had the whole colom system, and Neil being not just one of them, you have to read number two to see the second Caretaker(Sasha). In short, this book is good.Read it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Pike's best, very entertaining
Of the four Pike novels that I've read, Chain Letter is by far the best. Pike works within a strict formula that involves a whodunit, attractive young protagonists, and a thrilling sense of danger. In this particular outing, these elements are bolstered by a stronger-than-average set of characters, and above all the nifty idea that a chain letter is making demands that must be met.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but not great
This was a good book, but it could be better. It took them 150 pages to get to Alices party.Nothing bad happened before that.We learned about people for 150 pages.Once it got to the end though, the book pcked up.A few other good books by Mr.Pike are Monster, Bury me Deep, Whisper of death, The Evil Heart, and Remember me.

2-0 out of 5 stars Decent young adult thriller
Once again, Christopher Pike brings us into a world in which a roomful of attractive high schoolers have to figure out who among them is the murderer.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is great!

3-0 out of 5 stars Remember Me ????
I have read all the books in this series as well as most of chris pike's work . In any or all of his writing format he ends on sad notes. Very few of his main character live til' the end. In all the books. I have read about two have ended on happy endings. But few have after effects that effects the total out come of all for the main character and the supporting cast. But if you read carefully you can catch tib bits of other books with the remember me series. I fell in love with Peter and Sheri. Their relationship was never ment to happen. But fate happened to kick in and put them in the right place at the right time. After I read this book i found out what took sheri's life, It was brain tumor by reasonable elementation. It was something that would have taken her life quicker if she had know but her life was to bussy to see a doctor. I thaink that if she had went when she started realizing something was wrong that the book would have been a lot better.
4-0 out of 5 stars I want a continuation!
I re-read the whole trilogy a few days ago. I cannot get over the fact that Shari had to die again so soon! I wish Pike would write another story of Shari and Peter one more time. I want them to get together soon, as physical or non-physical beings.

3-0 out of 5 stars It was a good book, I guess
I am a big fan of Christopher Pike, afterall I have read a lot of his books (enough to predict almost everything that is going to happen), but I have to say this was not one of his better books. I have to say though the climax of this book was great! It was so suspeseful and sad at the same time. Haven't seen such a great climax from Christopher Pike since Final Friends: The Graduation. This book was overall good except for the fact that Peter can finally walk and Shari dies! The other thing I found extremely boring was the "Starlight Crystal." Like said before I almost just skipped this part. I mean this didn't have any point at all in this book. Pike did a great Job with the characters in this series though! I guess you could say not his best work, but a good book to read. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Loved this series!!!
I remember I first read this series in middle school at age 13. I am now finishing college and still am obsessed with this series. It was awesome writing and kept me on the edge of my seat to the very end. It had a great romance and stirred a fire in me. I couldn't put the books down. I recommend this series to any young readers and even the young at heart.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best I've read.
Scavenger Hunt is a horror classic by Pike. Its also one more great mystery to add on to Pikes work. Its geniously written, the story takes off immedeatley and the plot doesn't drag at all, each page will have you wanting more. For all the Christopher Pike fans, you should already own this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Horror Hunt
This book is a thrilling ride on a roller coaster (literally). It captures your imagination into a whirlwind of crazy happenings that are not explained until the last moment. For Carl Timmons this is the ultimate nightmare. For Paula Morrow and Tracie White this is 'Hell'. For Rick Morrow this is death. For Cessy Stepford and Davey Stepford this is a lot of FUN!!! They have diabolical, big, black-blue eyes, super-human strengths and obviously evil minds!!! This book is amazing and at the same time horrifying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christopher Pike is an unbelievable, brilliant author. ... Read more
