This is a good book,but this kind of story isn't really my taste...
I love Abby Hayes,and it was a good story line and very interesting,but I wasn't too crazy about it,as I am with the other books. If you like mysteries and things like that or Abby Hayes then you will love this book.

A Good Start
Abby Hayes feels outshined and overshadowed by her family. Her older twin sisters are perfect - one excells in sports, the other is the top of her class.

I loved this book because I like writing just like Abby. This book would be interesting to girls and boys.I think if you like soccer you will like this book!

I Loved This Book
I thought this book was great because Abby Was setting goals & determind to acomplish them. Also I thought Abby was a great writer because she wrote an article that was published in the newspaper. I thought Abby was doing a good thing when she made the new student(Natalie) Feel comfortable in her new school. I felt bad for Abby when she got Hurt in her soccer game. I really thought this was a good book. I think you should read it.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
I loved this book!!!! I must have read it about seven times in the last week alone. I can totally relate to her, and I think she handled it well. It's a fast-moving book with a lively plot. I'm a picky reader, and this book, as do all the others by Anne Mazer, definitely make my list of favorites! I can't wait to read "Now you See it, Now you Don't" and "That's the way the Cookie Crumbles", and I'm squirming in my seat for June 1st when the 17th book comes out! One thing's for sure, I will read every Abby Hayes book that this talent writer comes out with. Anne Mazer, keep up the good work!!!!

This is so not a bad book....
Don't listen to the other people. Having a crush is completely normal,and this book is wonderful! It's my favorite in the series. Abby Hayes isn't boy crazy,and I'm not,either,but I like this book. Some people say having a crush is completely delicate topic,but everyone has one once in a while. Abby is growing up,and she may not be the most mature person in the world,but,hey,this book is great.

a good book
This is a very good book. It is funny.They do a lot of swimming in it.They get a new swimming teacher.They think she isa monster.Eddie thinks the water is too cold to swim.This book is better then candy!

There are some weird grownups in Bailey City. But could the swimming teacher at Camp Lone Wolf really be a sea monster? The Bailey School Kids are going to find out!

Gift Boxes!
This book was so great, I couldn't put it down. I finished it all in one day! It's about a teacher who leaves Abby in charge of a gift box project. But they have a mean substitute who won't let Abby make the announcement about bringing gifts in for the gift boxes. Abby's friend named Hannah helps her out. Read the story. You'll love it.

This is a great Abby Hayes book!
Anne Mazer NEVER dissapoints me.This book is amazing,and I love it! Mrs. Kantor's class is giving gift filled shoe boxes to needy children,but Mrs. Kantor goes away,leaving horrible Ms. Lee with them. She's awful,and she makes school unbearable. What will the class do about her? Find out in this exciting book!

The Best Book Ever
I loved the babysitters club and i own every single one. It is creative and fun to read. The baby sitters club are good books for girls 3rd grade and up.

Perfect for your Pre-Teen girls
I began reading these books when I was in 5th grade and remember continuing to read them through Jr. High School.Now, I am 24 years old, pregnant with my first baby (a girl) and have pulled out those books to dust off and pass onto my daughter.These books are light-hearted, fun and still teach a good lesson about friendship, handling jobs, money, etc.I think these are fabulous books and recommend them to all! ... Outrageosly Alice
Phyllis Reynolds Naylor is a wonderful Author. I am a big fan of the Alice series and have read the book. Alice as always is a loving, smart and caring person. I love to watch Alice grow up in to a teenager. Alice wants to OUTRAGEOUS!! Pamela, her friend dyes her hair green and makes spikes. The fazes that Alice goes through is fun to watch, but it is not like watching. You feel like you are there in thr group with Pamela, Elizabeth because of the great way Naylor writes! Go on Writing Naylor!

Curly brown hair
I am a BIG fan of this series. This book acutally gave me the idea of having a garage sale. So,Abby wants new rollerblades,not Eva's(her SuperSis who is a twin)rollerblades. The ones that she wants are dark and shiney but best of all,they have purple wheels with a swirling,bright desing that would flash when they turned. Abby just has to have them...but how. She does her chores,looks on the streets for money,washes her dad's car and, takes care of Marshmallow(her neighbor's cat).She's going out of town for a week and when Heather(name of the neighbor) comes back she will give her $10.Perfect...until Marshmallow escapes. Uh-oh,wants a 10 year old girl to do? Read it for yourself.

fun, enjoyable
some moms says alice is not good and has bad contients but as a kid I know this is just about a girl growing up and it's very interesting.

NOT FOR YOUR CHILD
Parents, this book contains HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE graphic sex content.And the School Library Journal says this book is for grades 4-6??? Not in my house. My daughter was distressed after reading the explicit dialogue. Unnecessary, classless and a cheap shot, Ms. Naylor.Shame on you.

What is Out in the Kitchen?
The Bailey School Kids, Eddie, Howie, Melody and Liza are on their way to Jewel's Pizza Castle to get pizza with their class. Mrs. Jeepers, their teacher with the Transylvanian accent, is taking them there to reward them for all the books they've read. When they get there and are situated around their table, they hear a rumble and a growl and Melody sees a fire coming from the kitchen. The owner of the Pizza Castle says it's not a problem, that he has the situation under control, but doe he? What is out in that kitchen? Cool!
By the oak tree in the playground, there is a tiny bottle. Eddie toses the ball in the junkyard while melody wishes someone would clean the mess. And someone does. Lots of wishes are coming true in Bailey City. Maybe a genie has moved next door to Liza's house?

Amazing Days
I think the book "Two Heads are Better Than One" is a great story! It's about a girl named Abby who is sick for a week and misses school.While she is sick, the two fifth-grade classes find science fair partners. When she gets back to school, everybody has a science partner except her. Then a new kid named Casey comes and doesn't have a science partner. The teacher assigns Abby and Casey as science partners. Abby thinks that Casey is mean. Read this story to find out about the rest of their very exciting adventure!

Sea Monsters!

Sea Monsters Don't Ride Motorcycles
Eddie, Melody, Howie, and Liza get to go to a motorcycle race. Eddie sees a mototrcycle called the Monster. Howie thinks there is something fishy going on. He thinks that the rider on the Monster is a sea monster. Will the Sea Monster take over Bailey City and have its revenge trying to find her sister? Will she make Eddie's grandma move in with her and die? Or will Eddie's grandma go to her own house with Eddie? If the sea monster moves away then Bailey City will be fine. This book is really good and you should read it to find out what happens in the end.
