5-0 out of 5 stars Another Good One
In this book the remnants are tired of fighting and want to make a piece treaty with Billy in control of the ship. The Blue meanies don't want that however and they have some new toys or "weapons" that they plan on using.Blue meanies aren't the only thing terrorizing the humans though. There's a new race of humans being born on the ship that's human but not.Violet also has a new secret to share but will it hurt more than help you'll have to read this action packed book to find out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book
I really enjoyed Remnants #9 No Place Like Home. There was a lot of action in this book, especially near the end. A new character was introduced in this book. Some new mutations occured. More information was found about previous characters. Unlike like the last book, this book isn't slow-paced. I'm looking forward to Remnants #10 Lost and Found! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Yago gets some
OK,here's the deal;after the events in book 5 Yago finds himself hooked up to Mother, the supercomputer that runs the ship the Remnants have tried to inhabit.Mother reads Yago's memories and creates a computer-generated Washington D.C.Yago then finds himself leading a battalion of computer-generated soldiers against a battalion of Blue Meanies. My favorite scene is where a Blue Meanie "kills" Yago.Fortunately it turns out to be a projection of Yago, made to simulate his death.Altogether Yago played a big part in this chapter of the Remnants' saga.

4-0 out of 5 stars Action movie or book?
i think that this book really picks up the pace in the series. sometimes though, i felt that the author tried to rush things and didn't explain them well. overall though, this book really explain's yago and is one of the better remnant's books. i though think that the first is the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Book of All Time
The Remnants are a group of survivors that escaped from the asteroid that wiped out earth and have been floating in space for 500 years in hibernation. Then they landed on a ship and are now trapped on that ship controlled by a super computer called Mother. They are now going to challenge Mother. The other people that have tried to fight and take over have failed and have now gone crazy. There only hope now is a boy named Billy that has some how been able to create a bond with mother. They also learn through him that Mother is lonely and about the Shipwrights. They have also learned that Mother can create new environments and even new worlds. She can even create a computer-generated earth. But will they survive long enough for Billy to take over?Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but could have been better
This book was okay, though definitly not the best in the series. The writing was good and discriptive, though it didn't grab me in quite the same way as the first trilogy did, or even as the two books before this one did.To me, it seemed that this whole book was a rehash of the previus one.It had practicly the same plot, except Uldir finally went just a little to far.And they had to bring the Orloc guy back.I don't think he is a very good villian, because he is too unsure of himself, and he doesn't even have any real powers. His very presence insults the intelligence of the characters, and the fact that all of them are jedi, or at least jedi trainees except Uldir.Like I said, the writing was good, and the characters well developed, even if the plot was less than perfect. And despite it's flaws, I greatly enjoyed reading it, and intend to do so again.Definitly best for children twelve and under.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have for young Star Wars fans
This book is a very entertaining read for anyone familiar with the Star Wars movies. The book definitely gives a clear description of what life in the Star Wars galaxy is all about. The Jr. Jedi knights are the books that started my passion for reading four years ago. This is definitely a musthave for any young reader.

4-0 out of 5 stars I liked it--plain and simple.
I won't say much because it'll ruin the entire story. But this is a wonderful book to read for all Star Wars fans.I highly recommend it ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This was a great book!
I think this is the finish of the series, and all in all this was just a great book.I'd lend it to my friend any day!

4-0 out of 5 stars Too predictable
I think that this book is the last book in the series, and I also get the feeling that John Whitman just hurriedly tried to finish it off. For instance, the introduction to the real story takes half of the book, andalso, it is so predictable what the ending is going to be. But aside fromthat it is a really great book just like all the others in the series. Ialso really like the book because it takes place on the Dagobah system, andit includes a lot of stuff that was in the movies. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Funny
This book is confusing, but it is very funny. while aquirning a croc, Rachael begins to morph uncontrolibly. She morphs in her room and the house comes crashing down. She starts to morph in front of Chapman, but he dosent notice. Read the book to find the ending!

5-0 out of 5 stars The reaction
The Animorphs and Rachel must discover why she's morphing uncontrollably before her secret is accidently revealed.

5-0 out of 5 stars Reader Over 25
Greetings earthlings from your oh-so-ancient reviewer (who is way over the target age group, I know.)I browsed over the other reviews and didn't find an in depth synapsis, so before my usual spill on the "older than thou" side, I'll start there. The reaction starts out with a humorous tone which quickly turns to action. While in the Gardens (a zoo/water park combination) a very young boy falls into a crocodile pit.Rachael and Cassie are there on a field trip, and while Cassie runs for help, Rachael takes matters into her own hands.Dropping into the pit, herself, she attempts to rescue the boy, coming face to face with a very ancient, deadly predator which has changed very little since the time of the dinosaurs.Forced to acquire the crocodile or be eaten by it as a side dish to the person she's trying to rescue, Rachael manages to absorb the DNA (see Animorphs #1: The Invasion for the full story of how this came to be) from the beast. It leaves her feeling woozy and sick, but there's no time to question that with the situation.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Pretty Good Book
I think this is a pretty good book but it didn't have much of a plot.I like how determined Cassie was to save the buffalo. I think there certain things that couls have enhanced the book but after all I'm not not the writer. If you are as interested in this series as me then I will give you some reccomendations:
2-0 out of 5 stars Baadddd
This book was so wierd, it creeped me out. A)The whole thing with the morphing buffalo? Come On! B)Cassie's moral thing is getting old. She shouldn't care so much about every little thing. They're fighting to save the world, not every tiny animal that might get hurt. C)I never liked the Helmacron thing at all.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious!
I was laughing sooo hard at some of the parts! And the Cassie-ant part was funny, along will all of the other parts with the morphing animals. It was also funny when the bull blew up. hehehe, I must have a bad sense of humor. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!!
I thought this was a great book, partly because it at last told about Tahiri's past, which was something I'd been wondering about for a while, but also because it told about Anakin and Tahiri's friendship and how they work together through the force. This was not my absolute favorite in the series (that loses by a hair to Lyric's World) but it was definitly the best written. This book, and the rest of the series is best for children twelve and under, though anyone could read it and enjoy it.I read these books aloud to my mom and my little brother and he liked them so much he went and bought his own set.

4-0 out of 5 stars This is worth buying . . .
"Promises" is about Tahiri's long forgotten past. It's worth buying (hint, hint).5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and Full of action

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Greater Adventures!
Basically, if you have read the entire Chronicles AND the the previous Adventures, then you basically know that BIONICLE has taken a 2-year flashback. At the conclusion of the 2003 Story, the Toa learn of a strange new land, one they are destined to journey to.Funny thing is, this Island is perhaps even MORE ancient than the island they currently live on, Mata Nui.Before they journey, the village elders, the Turaga, most notably Turaga Vakama, decide to tell the Toa & Matoran (the Villagers) all they know of this ancient land.THAT's the flashback, which has taken 2 years to complete, story & set wise.

This is one of my favorite Animorph books. Then again,I always like Ax's narrations. In this book, the Animorphs find out about a machine that Visser 3 is trying to create that will destroy free will. They also take a visit to a meat packing plant morphed as, you guessed it: cows. I liked to read about Ax's opinion on T.V. and in general this book is funny, and one of the best Animorph books.

5-0 out of 5 stars Akiko
We consider this a true "find."My 6 year old daughter picked up the first book, the Planet Smoo, and fell in love with the ridiculous characters and nutty planets. Then all of a sudden, the 8 year old son was hanging around, enthralled by each adventure. We've enjoyed every book in the series and recommend it to kids between 4 and 12.

5-0 out of 5 stars Back and better than ever!
This is another great book in the excellent "Akiko" series. The first thing you'll notice is that Akiko has a new, more mature look and personality. The changes are realistic, though, so it feels more like she's growing up along with you, instead of like she's become someone unfamiliar. In this chapter of the series, Akiko, along with her friends, is sent to a tough training school on the planet Zarga Baffa. There, she must survive challenges such as Humbling Week, Yoodoo Egg Rescue, and Nagnog Lizard Riding. The plot moves at a fast clip (I finished it in 2 1/2 hours), and the tone is consistently upbeat and humorous, making it a smooth, enjoyable read for kids, teens and adults alike. It's also important to note that this can be read even if you don't have any prior experience with the series, since it starts off as a new adventure and ends neatly and happily. I would reccomend reading the other books first, though, because you'll be more familiar with the characters. Overall, this is a wonderful book for all ages and reading levels. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars STAR WARSDeception

4-0 out of 5 stars the past haunts Obi-Wan and his Padawan
This book has two parts. The first relates a difficult period for Obi-Wan, when his actions resulted in the death of another apprentice while the second takes moves forward to a time when Anakin Skywalker has become Obi-Wan's Padawan and Qui-Gon has been dead several years. While Obi-Wan tries to be a good mentor to Anakin, he learns that the past is not easy to leave behind.Anakin is an exceptional student in many ways, but perhaps Yoda's concerns that he was too old to learn the Jedi ways were correct. As Obi-Wan and Anakin investigate the captain and passengers of a spaceship community, they continue to develop their relationship together at the same time each is troubled by his own problems.3-0 out of 5 stars Worth a read
It's not as good as the other books in the series, but it's not too bad, although it is rather predictable.Read more

This is definatly my favorite book in the series. Its awesome to see how they build their lightsabers. It also is the most interesting! I loved it!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but not the best of the series.
This was a good book, but I enjoyed the first three in the series more. I have liked reading this series now instead of when they first came out. I enjoy reading the early stories of the new generation of Jedi Knights. If you can find this book it is worth your time, especially if you enjoyed The New Jedi Order series.

5-0 out of 5 stars a delight to read.

Hi.(...)This is a very good book, and it follows DC Bionicle comics #17 and #18 very well, but also have the missing adventures of finding the other Great Disks.I rate it 4 stars because, well, it is very good and a nice, long read. Great job, Greg Farshtey (writer)!

5-0 out of 5 stars Intense and Terrifying
This was an extremely tense and fast-paced book. After a horrific failed battle in which Jake makes the call to leave two Animorphs behind, Jake wakes up the next morning and finds everything changed. He's suddenly "at least ten years older" in an UNfamiliar world. This book is similar to the alternate, possible reality books of #7 "The Stranger," the beginning of Megamorphs #3, and Megamorphs #4. Jake finds himself in New York City with everything changed-everyone is a Controller, including Andalites. It has the nightmarish aspects of 1984 as well as provoking humor of human society becoming merged with Yeerk society (the bits about pills and clinics and the advertising boards, for example).
5-0 out of 5 stars The Familiar
Jake seems to have grown up overnight - literally. He goes to bed as his usual kid-self and wakes up ten years older to find the world completely taken over by Yeerks. All the other Animorphs are either dead or Yeerk-infested, and Jake alone is left to fight. Is it all just a horrific dream, or has the Yeerk invasion truly succeeded?

5-0 out of 5 stars The Familiar
The people that gave bad reviews on #41 are evil ! Well, okay, that's opinion. But anyway, I absolutely loved The Familiar. The way KA Applegate can create a futuristic Animorphs is amazing. I thought that The Familiar is one of the best books in the series, because it has so much glory in it. The auther fashioned this book to be not JUST #41. She fashined it to be a great , never to be forgotten book. True, the ending is a completely unexpected one -- but doesn't that make it all the Read more

It has some facts about a selected few of the matoran. It tells a selected few of the things about Takanuva and Makuta even though you should know that already. 5-0 out of 5 stars awesome! greatest book ever!
this book is awesome! i found this book on amazon. i saved my money up and when i read it, it was awesome! there are over 100 pages, filled with pictures of real models! the models are listed alphebetacily , each with a profile of where that rahi lives, and it's instincts. the only thing that disappointed me was that they couldn't fit more rahi into this book. the interduction was pretty boring too. other then that, i love this book and i highly recomend it for any bioncle fan

5-0 out of 5 stars Lego Bionilcle Bestiary
The book lists the beasts in the Lego Bionicle World. The cool thing is that 50 of the beasts were designed by Kids using their own Legos. My son J.D. was on the the entries that was selected.Though they rewrote his description of the Beast to fit in their vision of the Bionicle world, his creation is there for all to see and try to recreate. He has seen a few of the animals that other kids created and is trying to build those too.
