5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet Book
During the talk, one of Scott's ex-teammates joined in the conversation and when Scott accused the teammate he thought had stole Kear's wallet, the other teammate asked what he did with the $5 that was in Kear's wallet. Scott quickly realized that only 4 people knew how much money was in his wallet. The people were Kear, Scott, Kear's Mother, and the person who stole Kear's wallet. The teammate confessed to Scott that he stole Kear's wallet and said to bad Scott doesn't have proof. Later that day Scott went to the Greyhawks coach and showed the coach his proof. This book was really exciting and I really enjoyed reading it.

4-0 out of 5 stars If you like sports you've got to read this book
If You Like Sports You've Got To Read This Book! It is an amazing book. Tackle Without a Team is a book about a boy named Scott Kramer who plays football on the Greyhawks.3-0 out of 5 stars An easy book to read
The book A Tackle without a Team by Matt Christopher and Margaret Sanfilippo is a sports and a little mystery book. This book is about a boy who loves and plays football and gets kicked off his team for marijuanafound in his duffel bag. And now he tries to find the person who set himup. The main character, Scott, is a thirteen-year-old boy. He is so nice toeveryone, so that's why he can't understand why someone would want to framehim. My opinion about the ending it was good but what happened wasexpected. I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't like to read verylong books. I think someone who likes and understands football would enjoythis book. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Double Play At Short
I think the book Double Play At Short was a very good book. Matt Christopher is the author of this book, he writes many sports books. This was a book I couldn't put down because I was curious of what was goingto happen next. The characters were just like people I know. They acted the same way and had the same hobbies. This book is about a kid named Danny. He makes it to the championship series of his baseball league when he gets very mysterious of someone on the other team. He takes pictures of her and does a lot more to figure out who she is. If you read this book, you will find out what happens next. I think this book would be a very good book for any ages to read, whether it's an adult or kid. That's how much I think other people would enjoy this boook as much as I did.

4-0 out of 5 stars Championship Ball by Coach Clair Bee
The book I read was Championship Ball, by Clair Bee. Championship Ball is about a high school basketball player named Chip. Chip is an extremely good athlete and is a starting basketball player for his high school. Everything was going great until something happened that would change Chips life forever. During a basketball game Chip got tripped up and hit the ground hard. As Chip was writhing in pain, the team trainer came out to assist him. As it turned out Chip had fractured his ankle in several places. It was pretty bad which would mean that he would have to watch the games from the team bench for the rest of the year most likely. As his team goes on without him, they are doing quite well. They are making a championship run, and they are doing quite well, and they eventually get there. Before the big championship game, Chip was begging his coach to let him play. Chip's coach is not sure if Chip is
4-0 out of 5 stars Championship Ball Rocked My Court
Championship Ball was a great book!It is mainly about a boy, named Chip Hilton, who goes through his junior year with a broken leg. When he breaks his leg he can't play basketball so, he becomes the team manager. At first, he thinks he will have a terrible year but, later he finds out that he has learned more about basketball with his broken leg than he ever will.He learns about friendships and coaching more in this basketball season than his whole junior year put together. Chip coaches the team all the way to the championship. That's where Chip gets the winning ball. His team tells him about what a great manager he was. That's when Chip finally realizes that he had been the greatest manager ever.5-0 out of 5 stars These updates are wonderful
There's a good blend of the past and present in this book. In comparing it to the original, I like the updates that have been done without offending us older readers. The spirit of teamwork is still relevant to any age. Istill get misty-eyed at the end. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Flo Jo and the Funny Suits
(3 elementary students: ...): It's a very interesting book. It tells about Flo Jo's one-legged suits and her unique personal style. It inspires people never to give up on something you love a lot. There were times when Flo Jo was worried she wouldn't be able to compete, but somehow she perservered through the difficult times. In this book you will find out that Flo Jo made many new world records in running. (We don't understand how she could sign autographs with her six-inch long fingernails!!) Flo Jo wasn't allowed to run in the hand off relay because her fingernails were too long. In the end, the the coacheslet her keep them (the second time). We would recommend this book for people who are looking for a good biography and love running. We think the reading level for this book is appropriate for grades 3 and up, or as a Read Aloud for grades 2 and up. ... Read more
