a scary book
goosebumps books are great books to read. It will give you goosebumps .There is a boy named mark and he thinks that a boy named sticks is one of the scarecrows and he thinks that sticks is pulling one of his tricks that he does all of the time.

This story is full of scarecrows.
Do you see any scarecrows "coming alive"? Goosebumps- The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight is mostly about scarecrows. R.L Stine is an author of over two dozen best selling thrillers and mysteries for young people. He also wrote these books- The Dead Girlfriend, Don't Go To Sleep, and Go Eat Worms. He always tries to write scary and mysteries books. This story happened on Mark's Grandpas farm. I think that R.L Stine is trying to say that, you don't need to be scared.

Froggy Lover!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the haunted school was awesome! There were some kids from the 1940s and one day they all just vanished.And the rest is for you to find out! Trust me its COOL!

This book was amazing. It started off with these 3 normal kids working on a dance for the dance comittee. They ran out of paint so Ben had to go get some...on the thrid floor. Then when Ben went to get the paint he ran into a gray figure named Greta. He ran away but ran into a wrong room. He found aa bunch of statues of children that were from the 40s, and someone named Mrs. Broadan. She explained that 25 kids disappeared because someone named Mr. Chameleon took a picture of them, then vanished into thin air. Then Ben finally finds his way to his friends. He explains what happened. Then later on a girl named Thailia was putting lipstick on, but Greta stole it from her and Thalia started to get mad. Ben went back to the thrid floor with his friend only to get stuck in a dimension with the 25 missing children who were all gray. They got there from an elevator that went sideways. They said the same thing Mrs. Broadan said. Ben turned gray and so did his friend. He jumped out the window with his friend and these colorless figures tried to push them into a pit, but they escaped. They finally cracked open the elevator doors and were safe. They returned to the dance with his friend then they were going to take a picture. Mrs. Broadan said "Take the picture Mr. Chameleom." THen Ben thought about the name for a second and said " WAIT!!!" but it was too late. The picture was taken.
Cool!
Tom's dad just god married. Now Tommy gets a new mom. Tommy doesn't hate school. But it's easy to get lost, which exactly happens to Tom. Tom gets lost in a maze of empty classrooms. ... Read more

A great read!
A Night in Terror Tower is an amazing little book.With only 129 pages it is more than able to draw in a reader and fuel the imagination long after completion.The story is about two young children in London.They take a tour to the Terror Tower in London.The tour turns sour when they lose their guide and are hunted by the mysterious man in the black cape.The children are suffering from memory loss and nothing seems to be going their way!When the man in the black cape catches them the story takes a major twist, the kids are now in the past!This story is excellent for younger readers and will keep them turning pages for hours.I would recommend this book for anyone ages 8-12, but even adults could enjoy this as a quick night read!The graphic settings and bone chilling details to R. L. Stines books really keep you involved.The story is filled with humor, horror, drama, and action that won't let you sit anywhere but the edge of your seat.

A Night in Terror Tower is not the best Goosebumps book, But it is still good.

This Book Will Grow on You!
Stay Out of the Basement is the second in the Goosebumps Series and we are becoming quite familiar with R.L. Stein's writing at this point, and without hesitation, I think he's about the equivalent to Stephen King and/or Twilight Zone/or The Outer Limits for kids...his stories are always slightly creepy, seem to have slightly campy leanings,almost too outlandish to be believable and always with a twist at the end that leaves you wondering.
Really Scary
I loved this book especially because the main character has the same name as me... Brewer. It was really scary and I couldn't guess what happens next. You must read this book.

Something's Waiting In the Dark...
Stay Out of the Basement is the second book in the Goosebump's series. It is also one of my favorites. Stay Out of the Basement is about the Brewer family. Don't Go To Sleep!
This story is about a boy who hates his closet-sized room.After begging his mom to let him sleep in the guest room,he decides to sneak into the guest room.BIG mistake!!He wakes up a teenager! That and other nightmares taunt him in this book.

Matt's Fault!
Poor Matt. When Matt is not allowed to sleep in the guest room, He sneaks at night and goes to sleep... And whenhe wakes up at Chapter 3 in the book. Something terrifying has happened...

Look's like snooze time for me!
R.L. Stine throws a desperate attempt to satisfy his readers. It tricks me but I didn't connect with the book. Stine whips up a plain story about a anxious kid called Matt who suffers complete boredom and wants to sleep in a bigger room. With older siblings teasing him through every corner of life, he sneaks into the guest room and falls asleep. He wakes up and somehow finds himself in a reality time-warp. Waking up and finding himself turn into a different monster or human each time must be stressful. It aint scary. That's what Goosebumps books are all about. Just the pleasure of reading. But trust me, this isn't the best Stine book. It aint even the best Goosebumps book. But if you are a Goosebumps fan and adore his writing, you should go down to the library or bookstore to read it.

Pretty decent entertainment
I remember collecting Goosebumps when the first wave came out a decade ago. Ghost Beach was written around the time the series was taking off in popularity, but before it got saturated in merchandise and took a dip in quality. There's nothing goofy about Ghost Beach, it's a straight-forward ghost story with some decent twists here and there. It's also one of the scarier books in the series, along the lines of "Welcome to Dead House." Good for some safe scares.
GHOST BEACH
I would recommend this book to people who like ghost stories. This book is the second best book I've ever read. GHOST BEACH islong and makes you want to read more but don't read to much or you might forget to do your oral report.

Give yourself goosebumps with this book.
This is my introduction for the Goosebumps book It Came From Beneath the Sink.This is a great book to me because it has good chase scenes, its funny, and it's somewhat scary.The reason its scary is because a cannibal sponge with razor sharp teeth wants to kill the main characters.It's funny because that blood thirsty sponge well, it's a sponge!The chase scenes are good because the sponge makes the kids go into a dark eerie sewer by accident.
If there's a lesson to be learned
If there's a lesson to be learned from this book, it's that cleaning can't lead to anything good - so get the kids to clean under the sink before they read it.They may never do it again.
an okay book
it was an okay book but when i saw it first i thought that this story is so cool but when i read it i didn't like it that much to tell u the truth it wasn't interesting it wasn't scary and the ending was the worst i'm sorry to say that but it is the truth it's all about a girl finds a sponge beneath the sink but then she relised that it is not a sponge coz it is breathing and it is alive and it's called the grool and it brings bad luck for her and her family even it ruins her birthday and she knows that if she throws it away she will die within one day !!! and it can't be killed by violence......... ... Sure to be a popular pre-teen series
This is the second book in a new series from beloved children's author R. L. Stine of Goosebumps fame.Bernie Bridges has a problem.His residential school does not allow any pets and his dog and parrot have arrived.How will he keep them hidden from view?A quick thinker, Bernie enrolls his dog in school.But the dog received his nickname of Gassy for a good reason and this causes all kinds of problems.The Great Smelling Bee will appeal to most school kids between 8 and 12 years of age.A departure from the Goosebumps style it is a good read filled with descriptions of the gross and messy stuff children that age like to read about while still providing an interesting story with plenty of twists and turns.This book should appeal strongly to boys where other books often fail.

A Chilling story
How to Kill a Monster is a fabulous book.It is a spine tingling, heart breathing, and breathe taking scary book.It is about two is my favorite o kids, Gretchen who is 12 and Clark who is 12 went to visit their grand parents.The grandpa is my favorite character because he is nearly deaf and the grandma just likes to cook.The two kids had some trouble getting there thought.At the house, they found a locked door and wanted to check it out. However, their grandparents tell them to stay away.Can you guess what happened?Yah they open the door and something comes out.When Gretchen and Clark go downstairs, they are locked in.Do they get out?You will have to read the book to find out.In my opinion people 9 and up should read this book.I just thought it was a wonderful book.

Good Creepy Fun!
The third in the Goosebumps series, Monster Blood is a riot of creepiness and is sure not to disappoint!I think I see a pattern developing (though I suppose three books in is a bit too soon to make any final judgments)...this series seems to be more about a campy and creepy type of vibe than a truly horrific/scary one (though the first one, I felt was genuinely scary in places), I'm getting a bit of Tales from the Crypt Jr. feel as I am going through the series and I rather like that.
My favorite Goosebumps book
I loved this book I couldn't stop reading. It's about a kid named Evan Ross who has to stay with his great aunt Kathryn who's deaf. He meets a girl named Andy who has to go get a present for someone and they go to an old toy store. Evan finds a can of Monster Blood and takes it home. He opens it and this green goo comes out. I won't tell you anything more but it's a great book.

Getting rid of Monster Blood is very hard.
Man, this book brings back memories. I read it when it first came out. It was my favorite goosebump book in the series. Particularly becuase I loved the plot. Fiendishly Good!
Amazon lists the age range for this series at 4-8, but I cannot imagine a 4-6 year old who would really be able to enjoy this on their own...or would really want this read to them, this stories are more involved and require a slightly higher level of sophistication on the part of the reader.I'm thinking the best age range for this book (and probably the series) is 8-14, with the 10-12 age range being ideal.

camp?
this is another great r.l. stine book from the goosebump series.billy is sent to summer camp, camp nightmoon.at first it's just like any other camp, bad food, strange counselors, and a demented director.but soon, strange things start to happen.campers disappear, his parents aren't replying to his letters, scarey noises outside.this camp is turning into a real nightmare.with no one to turn to, what's going to happen to billy?

Goosebumps WELCOME TO CAMP NIGHTMARE
I was addicted to these books when I was younger and it wasn't until I was majoring in education in college that I figured out why. They were interesting with bizarre plot twists that most 9-12 year olds don't think about and they were short (usually between 110-130 pages). I could read the whole thing in a day.

deep trouble

All About A Good Book
This is all about the book Deep Trouble.It is about these peoplethinking that they caught a mermaid and then these zoopeople came and said that they would give the other people one million dollars, but the oter people did not give them the mermaid, and thats how the book went, this was one of the best books I have ever read.

Misleading, but Good
I'm a very tuff critic, and as much as I like R.L. Stine, this isn't his best. The story, in my opinion, is misleading. It's supposed to be the "Don't Go In The Water" scenario, but it's mainly about mermaids, something that isn't very scary. Early in the book is the best scene. A hammerhead circles the main character. If only the whole book would have dealt on this topic. But, I do believe that it is worth buying and reading. Hope you enjoy! ... Read more

Rotten School will have young boys laughing
This is the fourth book in Stine's newest series "Rotten School". Very humorous and full of that toilet humor young boys are so fond of, this book will appeal to fans of "Captain Underpants" or the books by James Marshall. The fourth grade football team at Rotten School known as the "Rotten Apples," has never won a football game. At least not until Jennifer Ecch joins the team, wanting to be close to her boyfriend Bernie Bridges. He refers to her as the Nightmare Girl, but if she can get the team to win with her large size and blocking abilities, that's just fine with him. In fact, if she can lead the team to the National Championship he will even wear the 10 sweaters she plans to knit for him that read, " Bernie loves Jen" and he'll get a date with the beautiful cheerleader April-May June. Unfortunately after winning every game Bernie realizes that the last game must be played against the roughest team, the "Bone Breakers" and he sets out to find a way to sabotage their winnings. Illustrated in black and white line drawings with washes of gray and includes a map of the Rotten School campus. The book is chock full of stereotypical characters - the cheerleader, the rich kid, the athlete, the geek - which fit perfectly with the style of the book. Humor abounds with names like R.U. Dumm Football Field and Headmaster Upchuck, illustrations of the Hammerhead Sharks showing their helmets in the shape of hammerhead sharks, and puns throughout. Let's Get Invisible
Maybe because it's an early volume this is, in my opinion, one of Stine's better books.Later in the series, many stories just got a little too silly. This is my favorite Goosebumps story so far!
When 12 year old Max and his friends find a mysterious mirror in a room in the attic of his home, they discover a strange and amazing magic that has been lurking in Max's house for a long time. Disapperences Can Be Deadly
On his 12th birthday, Max, two of his friends(Erin and April) and his younger brother Lefty discover a mirror hidden away in the attiac. While inspecting the mirror, they discover a lightbulb with a chain hanging from the mirror. When Max pulls the chain he becomes invisible. When he turns the light off he reappers. The next time they inspect the mirror one of Max's other friends Zack joins them and they start a competion with whoever can stay invisible the longest. The strange thing is though, that during the last few minutes, they all feel like the light is pulling them towards the mirror. Then during the competion Max starts noticing that his friends look different but he can't tell how they look different. What deadly secrets does the mirror hold. Turning invisible is just a game right? What can go wrong?

Forgot your season ticket.
Me and my brother read this one at the same time. It starts out slow but it turns into one of those 'we took a wrong turn but look where we ended up' type book. And what a perfect area to get lost in--an amusement park. An amusement part gone horribly wrong. I love the way they use everything in the park from the house of mirrors all the way to the roller coasters. But the end of the book is the best part. Enjoy!

Great Book!
This book is about the Morris family who went to a very scary amusement park.The horrors who they thought were just dressed up were really monsters. My favorite part was when they were on the doom slide.I really liked this boook!

Say Cheese and Die
This book was very interesting.I enjoyed it a lot because it was very addicting.When the story develops, it gets very exciting.It is for younger readers, 5th grade and younger probably.I liked this book, but I felt it was too easy.It is the best Goosebumps book I've read by far.A girl vanished and magically reappeared out of nowhere.Greg takes a picture of his dads' brand new car and when the picture develops the car is shown totaled.If you read other Goosebumps books, you would like this book.
Say cheese and die
It's an amazing book. It's about 4 chracters Greg,Shari,Michael,and Bird who took a camera but bad things starts to happen to him after taking the pictures of people. If you wan't to know more, read this book! it's a great book for kids and I will recommend this to anyone.

This book is about four kids that say that live in the most boring place. Ones they decide to go to a house that no one live there. In there Greg finds a camera and lots of weird things happend. Revenge isn't always sweet
Sixth grader Steve Boswell has a problem, a very serious problem.He has been sentenced to coach a 1st grade soccer team as punishment for a prank gone wrong.As if losing every afternoon after school was not enough the team of 6 year olds seem determined to destroy him with their antics.Steve has decided to extract revenge by scaring them with a Halloween prank.His plans call for a particularly frightening costume, like the one a classmate scared him with the previous year.When he asked about the mask, however, his classmate was very reluctant to tell where she had gotten the mask.After Steve did manage to get the information she pleaded with him not to get a mask.Before Halloween was over Steve wished he had listened to her.
The Haunted Mask II
This book in not nearly as good as the first Haunted Mask by the same author.It never tied up the ending of the first book by explaining what happened to Karlie's brother.The rest of the story was too predicteble.
