this paper doll book is a must for fans of the king and his wives or for people who are in terested in the time period. With short biographies for all six wives and notes for all there outfits this is a perfect set. In this book there are three versions of the king, the beginning of his reign, his middle age, and in his later days. For each doll there are outfits that are very detailed and the dolls look magnificent. This is a MUST and i HIGHLY recommend this book.

This is a terrific book for making your first teddy bear!
This book is recommended for ages 10 and up but as an adult I found it exciting and useful as well as a child would. There are step by step instructions on how to make a 16 inch teddy bear (which is rather large) in clear and concise instructions. The first part teaches you how to make a teddy bear much like a cookie cut out in just one piece. The second part details how to make a 16 inch teddy bear. A most excellent choice
As the title suggests, a most excellent make and do book, especially for older children, or adults intested in basic puppet making.Though colorphotos and drawings, as well as brief descriptions this book shows how tomake 9 different puppets, including a basic glove puppet, several rodpuppets, shadow puppets, 3 different marionettes, and a bunraku puppet. The puppets are made mostly from simple inexpensive recycled householditems, such as cardboard, toilet paper and wrapping paper tubes, straws,egg cartons, and plastic milk jugs.While the book shows how to constructa puppet stage, it does not go into much detail about puppet performance, however, it sparks the imagination and gets you started on making andplaying with homemade puppets. ... Four Colonial Girls Sticker Paper Dolls
This paper doll book is easy to use. All the outfits are stickers that can be re-used. All the dolls are on the inside back cover. They range in size from 4 and � in. to 5 and � in. Each doll has four outfits withaccessories. The stickers and dolls are glossy with beautiful colors.Theinside front cover briefly describes the character and age of each girl.The back cover tells us that the costumes are 18th-century. I would haveliked to have the actual years of the costumes. The costumes are describedas "simple frocks with dainty floral prints for everyday wear, crispaprons with scalloped edges and trimmed borders, lovely dresses with bowsand attractively draped skirts for special occasions, as well as cloakswith matching hoods, capes, purses, headgear, and other personalitems." I would like to have seen a note next to each outfit sayingwhen it would be worn. It's hard to tell, in some cases, whether a dress isan everyday one or a special occasion dress.While there are cutting linesso you can cut a rectangle for each doll, I don't recommend it. Because ofthe wide skirts, some outfits extend over the cutting line. Since the backsof the outfits are sticky, you can easily ruin the stickers if they come incontact with other surfaces. Sometimes the underclothes each doll wearswill show through the outfit you place on the doll. This happens with lightor white clothing. The peeling cuts for the costumes are excellently done.When you take them off the page, you get the whole outfit.
