5-0 out of 5 stars About the Product: Slipcase Set 1 (Books #1-4)
This should be the first slipcase set featuring books #1-4: Door in the Dragon's Throat, Escape From the Island of Aquarius, The Tombs of Anak, and Trapped At The Bottom Of The Sea.I believe this set includes the collector's box and four (newer release/cover design) paperbacks--at least it matches the ISBN and picture for CBD's slipcase set.So far, books #5-8 are unavailable in a boxed set (the newer paperbacks), but they are available separately. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable Adventure With The Most Important Message
The Tombs of Anak is, in my opinion, one of the best books in the entire Cooper Kids series. What makes it even more enjoyable for is that my last name is Cooper, too, and I can pretend I'm actually one of the characters in the book. Anyway, the Cooper Kids series is absolutely fantastic. Each book is filled with adventures you couldn't dream of, action, suspense, and, most of all, a sense of God presence and power in and over life and the universe itself. Each story brings out spiritual messages and is great for any audience. Personally, I agree fiction and even children and teen fiction from a Christian perspective is edifying for anyone seeking God's truth or for any child of God, young or old.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great book, great message!
This is a great book!It is very suspenseful, which makes it a perfect read for kids who like suspense. It will be too suspenseful for kids ages 6 & 7 and probably 8, too.The suggested age level is ages 10-14.It has a great message-how greed can overtake you!The Coopers- Jay, Lila, and Dr. Cooper go on another archeological adventure, searching for ancient artifacts.Filled with suspense and harrowing escapes to the very end, this book will keep you very captivated from cover to cover!

5-0 out of 5 stars If you thought Peretti couldn't get better....HA! (Rapha)
It's Frank Peretti's brilliant novel writing skills...condensed! It's a super-cool family of archeologists--minus a mother--who investigate phenomena in the spirit of Indiana Jones, only with a Christian perspective.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This book rules!
I am a huge Indiana Jones fan and I saw this book in my schools library. It looked OK and I had already read the first three so I thought "Why Not?". I loved it. It is one of my favorite books.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Breath Taking Adventure... Especially for Lila
This is an awesome book. The only series I like better is the Harry Potter series. This in my opinion isn't the best of the series, but it got close because of the suspense. Door in the Dragon's Throat was better because it shows what happens to greedy people and has mystery and a lot of suspense. If I had to rate this book I would say it was an 8/10 because it follows a man of God and also because of the action, the suspense, and other reasons. I would recommend this for kids to adult because of the action, the suspense, and the amazing things that happen.

4-0 out of 5 stars My favorite series!
This was a good book--suspenseful to the end, as usual. The Cooper Kids adventures are my favorite books!Lila gets trapped in a weapons pod at the bottom of the sea.How will she escape? Will Dr. Cooper and Jay be able to find her?Filled with narrow escapes and suspense, you will enjoy this book from cover to cover. However, this book was not my favorite out of the Cooper Kids books, but it's still great. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars okay
Escape from the Island of Aquarius by Frank Peretti
3-0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately it is my least favorite book in the series...but it's still worth reading
I only pick up these kind of books when I'm tired, sick, or feeling really lazy, but I still want to read something. This book is one of the rarest ones for me to pick up. My least favorite book in the series, I will only read it when I've pretty much forgotten what the plot was...which takes a long time. Yes, get it from the library or buy it, if you liked the first one in the series, or the others you've read (you don't need to read these in order, they don't build on each other at all, but don't read this one first. I did and I almost gave up on this series.), but realize that it won't be quite as fun as the others. Now, there are others who disagree with me - some think that it is the best in the series. Read it and decide your own opinion.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best!
This was the best in the series! It was really, really suspenseful.I like how it ties into the coming end times-about how the antichrist (no capitilization needed here,) will deceive people to become his followers, making them think he is a god or something, although he isn't a god at all. This is a wake-up call.We do not know when the rapture is becoming! In this book, the Coopers are trying to escape from an island that is literally tearing lose from its roots! But with the dangers from the tyrannical leader of the island and earthquakes, will they escape? And who will listen to the truthful message that they have to bring? Will they rescue the people from the tyrannical leader? And is this leader the kind missionary they expected to find? The suggested age level of these books is ages 10-14. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Book
I thought this book was very good. It had me at the edge of my seat. It was very faith-building and I did a Bible study on it. Every kid should read this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars I still like these books!
I don't read these often anymore, but whenever I'm tired or sick or lazy and need an easy read, these are some of my favorites to grab. The Door in the Dragon's Throat is the story of a Christian archeologist and his two teenage children, Jay and Lila. They encounter a physical battle and a spiritual one, and somehow have to get out alive. A great treasure is said to be hidden behind a mighty bronze (or is it bronze?) door. Some say it is the lost treasure of Nimrod, while others say that behind the door is a curse greater than anything mankind has ever experienced.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good vs Evil - the next round
While visiting a book fair recently, I came across a whole pile of young adult fiction and picked up titles randomly without even reading the back covers.I had no clue therefore that Frank Peretti specializes in Christian fiction, but it didn't take me long to discover that this is no ordinary fiction series.
