Great Book
I love this book!I've been reading it to my daughter since she was about 5 months old (15 months old now) and she really likes it.It's one of the very few I'm not sick of yet!

Adorable
This was my daughter's favorite book from about the age of two until she got into Harry Potter.And it's still one of my favorites to read aloud.It's a gentle book that helps illustrate the importance of respecting and being aware of the differences of others.I'm sure your children will love this book, too.

This book gets a ''Mega Punch''
.......and a big stinky thumbs down goes to Pokemon Tales!! I hate this series. I saw this in a bookstore one day and it wasn't what I expected it to be. Instead of a cool Pokemon book it was a chubby baby book. It was SOOOOO boring.Like, who would think someone THAT young would like POKEMON????? Who would think someone that young would even KNOW about Pokemon???????!!!!!!!!

Teaches kids a good lesson
I think this book is very good for little kids.In the book, Squirtle is afraid to come out of it's shell.Squirtle's friends Poliwhirl and Charmander try to get Squirtle to come out, but Squirtle is just tooafraid.When Squirtle finally does come out, he gets to see a beautifulsight.This book teaches kids that even though they might be afraid attimes, taking chances is better than being a coward.

Our child loves it!
Our 3-year old loves this book, and 'reads'it to himself from memory (since he can't read yet) whenever he can.. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make reading more 'fun' and enjoys seeing their child interactwith pokemon, yet may not feel he or she is old enough for the more'mature' aspects of this phenomena. ... Good
Good book. It shows that helping is nice and kind, but sometimes overhelping isn't. Like when Franklin was doing everything for Snail because he thought Snail couldnt do it. That hurt Snails feelings. Often people do that with those with disabilities or elderly people because they think they cannot do anything by themselves...so they are babied.

Maybe you are being to helpful sometimes
Franklin and his friends are going on a searh through the woods to find interseting things and bring them back to share with the class. Snail and Franklin set out with the rest of the group, everyone is finding things, except for Snail. Franklin seems to be doing everything for Snail, and this makes Snail feel very helpless, and very angry. He is trying to do things on his own, and he keeps getting interuppted. Snail finally gets up the nerve to tell Franklin that he can do things by himself. Franklin gets hurt by thins and doesn't really understand, but his friends help him understand when they show him what Snail can do. Franklin understands, and feels bad. He tells Snail he is sorry, and trys to help Snail from now on only when he feels he really needs help.

A lesson about being too helpful

I Love This Activity Book
I have had this activity book pretty much since it came out and I'm still doing fun stuff with it. The illustrations themselves are bright and fun to look at. The activities include a word search (which is always fun), a letter cross-out game, word scrambles, coloring and more interesting activities. The coloring activities look very nice in either colored pencil or marker. You can choose to follow the colors from the illustrations, or select your own color set. Finally, the stickers are large, bright, colorful and stick well. The only issue with the stickers is that they all have a large white border that they would probably be better without.

Franklin is a great character for children.He is a good friend and son, but struggles with the issues that get to kids everywhere -- shyness, patience, etc.Read more
