5-0 out of 5 stars a must have!!!!!!!!!!!
I must admit, I was never a Buffy fan until recently ( through syndication). So, I needed a quick reference to catch me up to speed as well as a episode guide/timeline to explain the ones I missed.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good Buy
I love this product. It condition was great and it got here faster then i thought

3-0 out of 5 stars Lacks the bite of the previous volumes...
I had this book for quite some time, but deferred from reading it until I re-watched seasons 5, 6, and 7 - which this book covers. If you are not familiar with the Watcher's Guides, they are books designed for Buffy fans filled with (in the past) episode guides, character summaries, memorable quotes, crew and cast interviews, and photos from the show.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tinky Winky's Magic Guillotine
I bought this book for my oldest daughter when she was one, a die-hard teletubby-head at the time, and about to leave on a international trip without me.Even though it is a big unwieldy book, my daughter loved and convinced her grandmother to carry it around in her purse.
5-0 out of 5 stars Get creative and make this book even more fun
This book is great. You MUST laminate the teletubbies though. To make it more fun, use your own cardboard to make some tubby toast (I made colored toast to match each tubby), and make an extra teletubby cutout and paste a photo of your child on it. Really adds to the fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing entertainment value
I was skeptical about whether this book would go over well with my kids (18 months and 3) and I surely didn't need to worry! they LOVE it. They play with it many times a day and never seem to tire of it - esp. putting the Teletubbies to bed. I [would suggest] laminating the Teletubbies - that is a must since they are flimsy cardboard and will dissolve if put in the mouth (which of course is the first thing my daughter did). My 3 year old likes to play with them even without the book and puts them in his trucks and walks them around etc. I am amazed how much they enjoy this book and how it never seems to bore them. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Arthur's Tooth
Arthur's Tooth by Marc Brown is a book that any kid that's about to loose a tooth would enjoy. In this story Arthur is the last to loose a tooth. He feels behind and awkward for it. Everyone tries to help him loose it, but nothing ever succeeds. Finally, Francine, the bully of the group, that hassles Arthur for not loosing a tooth yet, jabs Arthur in the mouth, and knocks his tooth right out!5-0 out of 5 stars Losing A Tooth
Another great book from the Arthur series. The book is about Arthur, the last student in the class to lose his first baby tooth. Some of the other students in the class make fun of Arthur, because he still has all his babyteeth.Other students try to help Arthur's tooth fall out, but nothingworks. Finally an accident causes Arthur to lose his tooth. This bookteaches children to be patient and to help their friends. It also teachesthem that everyone is different.I really like this book.

It is impossible to purchase any of the books from the Bear in the Big Blue House in Australia. My son was extremely happy when he opened his package and found the book. He loves lifting the flaps to discover whats underneath them.

My son is just in LOVE with Bear...and anything to do with him.He is 14 months old and this is the perfect book for him.Lots of little flaps to open and look under, a short story to keep his attention and of course, bright, colorful photos of Bear and his friends! If your child loves Bear, they will love this book.

my son loved this book.he was having a problem with a bully at school and this book really help him see that even big bully's have weaknesses.

3-0 out of 5 stars arthur's april fool
it was an okay book.I think that D.W. and Arthur make the perfect brother and sister because they always disagree. It was a funny book because Arthur does a good trick on Binky.

5-0 out of 5 stars Arthur and D.W. are so much fun!
ARTHUR'S APRIL FOOL is one of the earlier books when the drawings of Arthur still gave him the longer head. And because it's an earlier book, all the characters you know from the wonderful TV series are here, but they look just a bit different than we're used to. It's a great story with a lot of depth and a lot of fun. The illustrations are so funny, with a lot of interesting details for kids to find. My favorite is always D.W., and she doesn't let me down here, either. The Arthur series is simply amazing and wonderful. It brings me great joy. I would get every one of the books in this affordable series of paperbacks. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars an archaeologist's opinion
From an archaeologist's point of view, that the "artifact" used for show and tell is a wood hoop with strings (and would not be preserved in most archaeological contexts) is the minor problem. The major problem is that Great Aunt Jane, the archaeologist, has an "artifact" in her trunk instead of in a curation facility.Ethical archaeologists do not keep the artifacts they find. The book could have Arnold find a replica made of one of Auntie's discoveries. In its favor, the book does emphasize "it's not what you find [i.e. the artifact] but what you find out" that's important.

4-0 out of 5 stars Book Review
I liked reading this book, because it was easy to read and understand. I thought that the book was funny and interesting. The class had show and tell and Arnold brought something in to show that was very interesting. No one knew what it was. They try to find out what it is and where it came from by going on a trip with there teacher. By reading this book, you will find out what exactly happened on their trip and what it is what Arnold brought in for show and tell!Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Charming Franklin Christmas Story
In "Franklin's Christmas Gift," Mr. Owl tells Franklin and his classmates that they should pick out a toy to donate to the school toy drive. Franklin gets home, but can't seem to find anything he wants to give away except an old, rusty truck. But when he starts to see what everyone else is bringing and learns how important it is, he reconsiders.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wocka, wocka, wocka!
I LOVE THIS BOOK!As a more 'mature' muppets fan, I can highly recommend this book, both for it's practical craft suggestions and as a darn fine book to look at.The photos are superb and nearly all my favourite characters were featured. So far, we have only had one failure among our craft attempts. The 'wax paper butterflies' ended up being 'runny crayon blobs' but we still had fun making them! This book will definitely be a keeper long after my kids have outgrown the projects.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not just for the kiddies!
I never considered myself a "crafty" person before I got my hands on this book! My roommate got it over a year ago and I had to get my own copy because we soon won't be living together anymore. It is true what the other reviewers have said that there isn't a lot for little kids in this book (though there are at least 20 good things for children) but there are a zillion crafts-for-kids books out there. This book is for EVERYBODY!Really, these projects could be handled by children, but many of them take patience that some children don't have. The projects in this book may take longer than projects in other books, but the end result is probably much better, too. After all, these projects come from the Muppet Workshop, and we all know the Muppets they make are not like ordinary craft puppets. My favorite project in this book is the "Eggshell Mosaic" which involves selecting your favorite drawing/picture (I did Sailor Moon, my friend did Tigger... there is a stencil in the book of Fozzie Bear), making a tracing of this picture onto cardboard, dying eggs the colors you will need to color in your tracing, and gluing the broken colored eggshell pieces into place! It looks like a fancy tile design you might see in a subway station. Everyone who has seen our eggshell mosaics is impressed! All of the projects have easy-to-follow instructions and helpful hints on how you may want to do your project. It is loaded with color photos of examples, and step-by-step drawings. I must have at least ten bookmarks in my copy, all marking projects that I can't wait to do! I can't stress enough what a great book this is. These must be the things Muppet Workshop people do with their children on the weekends. I don't have kids yet, but when I do, I am sure we will wear this book out until it is ragged.

4-0 out of 5 stars Thank you, Muppets!
This is a great kids' craft book. The projects are colorful and substantial. The instructions are meticulously presented.Adults will also enjoy doing these crafts! This is a good book...no lame, boring projects here!Nope! This is Muppet quality fun stuff!Read more

It was a fun book, the first one Marco, his jokes are just soo funny, another reason why I read these books, no matter how bad they get in trouble or how hurt someone is he can always make you laugh. I likes when he beat up those muggers with his gorilla morph.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good, good, good
I like this book a lot. The best Animorphs book I've read. Right after I read it, I swore to myself that I would always read Marco books. (He's an Animorphs character.)
4-0 out of 5 stars What you see isn't always what you get...
Marco never wanted to be an Animorph. He never wanted to risk his life saving the world with his animal-morphing powers. He knew that if he died, his father would go insane--since both his son and wife would be gone forever. Now, the two year anniversary of Marco's mother's death is coming, and Marco is nervous. And after a dangerous mission that almost got he, Jake, and Ax killed, Marco decides to quit.

Here's an Arthur book that deals with public embarrassment, and as a mom I think there are a number of points that can be made while reading this book. The storybegins with Binky ripping his pants in front of the entire class.Pretty much as one would expect the children fail to show much sympathy.Instead they all begin laughing at poor Binky's misfortune.
4-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Marc Brown as usual
Love the Arthur stories!Marc Brown's books always teach a lesson, and this one is no exception. It allows children to feel embarassed at times, and doesn't sugar coat how other children will probably react to someone else's embarassment.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is a great book

4-0 out of 5 stars Maisy's Day at the Farm
If you are the parent of a young child, you probably know who Maisy is. She's a mouse with a duck, a squirrel, an elephant, and a crocodile for friends. Why the crocodile isn't trying to eat the others is beyond me, but that's life in Maisy's world.5-0 out of 5 stars My 10 month old loves this
We have many Maisy books at our house, but this one is especially cute!Maisy works on the farm milking cows, feeding chickens, etc.The pictures are adorable and my 10 month old likes us to make the farm animal sounds as we read it to him.5-0 out of 5 stars Farm Fun

5-0 out of 5 stars The kids work together for a natural treasure
My five year old son and three year old daughter have been enjoying this book for over a year. The older child finds the story exciting and gains satisfaction from better understanding the world around him. The younger child enjoys how the characters she's come to know so well morf into creatures she's familiar with from visits to the aquarium and the fishmonger.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Magic School Bus Takes A Dive
Ms. Frizzle takes her class on a field trip to the depths of the ocean to observe the coral reefs up close and learn life that found in reefs. The book, like all the other Magic School Bus books, teaches a lot, and has a moral. In this story the reader can learn a lot about the coral reefs of the sea, and what kind of creatures live there. The moral of this story is to work together to achieve your goals. Children between the ages of 4 and 6 would probably enjoy this book. ... Read more

Editorial Review

"Who's that hiding under the table?" Maisy and her friends are playinghide-and-seek. Share in Maisy's delight as she finds Charlie the crocodile (inplaid Bermuda shorts!) under the bed, Cyril the squirrel behind the showercurtain, and Eddie the elephant squeezed into the closet. Each big, easy-to-gripflap lifts to reveal another hidden friend. Fans of funny little Maisy mousewill love this simple interactive board book based on every preschooler'sfavorite game. As in Lucy Cousins's many other picture books, the bold, brightillustrations are outlined in heavy black, framed cleanly in white. Therepetitive text ("Who's that hiding...?") will appeal to early readers as theybegin to match the words to the pictures.
