The Greatest Book I've ever read
Flip is a really good book. It is about some kids who find a bunch of discs that were made by aleins. Even though that sounds like Sci-Fi, it isn't. (If it is, it's not like any Sci-Fi book I've ever read.) When they "Flip" the discs, they become someone else. It's a story about courage, and being who you are, even when it's hard. During the story, I got really emotionally attached to the characters. David Lubar did a great job of making the characters and the story seem intensly real. I have never read a better book, and I don't think I ever will.

Lubar fans sure to Flip over his new novel

excellent book, very entertaining
This is an entertaining young adult novel about twins who discover alien disks that allow them to become historical figures for a short time. Ryan especially loves the disks, and begins to use them almost like drugs to escape from his screw-up life, while his twin sister Taylor tries to keep him out of trouble. The book is fast-paced and, in places, funny; the twins are likable and believable. The most engaging character is Ellis, a friend of the twins.Read more

Excellent for children, but fraternal twins deserve better
The photos and kid content in this book are simple and wonderful. It is a great book to show young children, as they start to ask questions and become more aware of twins in their class, or try to understand their own twinship. Down to earth, pleasant book
Twins! shows twins and their families in various activities realting to their twinness. The photographs are colorful and exude a sense of joy, while the parent/adult information section at the back may be of interest to the non-children reading the book. ... Read more

Exceptinal!!!
This book is brill as it is all about helping each other. In this story the real teen van comes to MK and A's school.Ashley thinks she is going to win the fashion shoot they shot(so 1 pupil can have a chance to be in the mag! When Ashley goes to winners board she realises it is not herself who won but someone totally different!What is she going to do?

Who Will Be Supermodel?
In another 2 of a Kind book that reminds me of Sweet Valley Twins,a scout visits Mary-Kate and Ashley's school to choose a one-time model to appear in Real Teenmagazine.Ashley couldn't be more excited!She starts turning up at school in sparkly dresses and high-heels.Mary-Kate thinks modelling is silly and playfully teases Ashley over her love of it.There is surprise in both girls when it is Mary-Kate who is chosen as the new Real Teen.Ashley begs Mary-Kate to swap places with her,but after MAry-Kate is conjoled into agreeing ,she starts to regret it.

Light & Whimsical
Pretty good, but not great.We enjoyed this, it is the story of Peter and Jennifer (and their family) who are visiting their grandparents in Scotland and discover that magic is real!The story starts with the entire family driving to the grandparent's house and quickly turns into quite the little adventure.Upon arriving (in almost no time flat) the youngest daughter (Molly) inadvertently colors on an old map while the older children are trying to figure out an odd card game (all found in the attic, of course)...these two events set into motion the freeing of a very old and very evil magical (Michael Scot).Ultimately it becomes Jennifer's daunting task to find the magician in his magic lair and free her entire family...with the help of a dragon, a unicorn and a dog.
Very enjoyable!
This is the first book in Jane Yolen's Tartan Magic trilogy about three American children visiting Scotland, who get a lesson in magic. In this book, the thirteen-year-old twins Jennifer and Peter, and four-year-old Molly discover a worthless old map. But, when Molly colors on the map, she inadvertently releases an evil wizard of great power, Michael Scot. And now, it's up to Jennifer, who possesses a magic she didn't know she had to set things right! Great book for kids!
I found this book in my daughter's school library, and decided to give it a try.I'm sure its a great book for impatient young readers.As an adult used to complex and sometimes drawn-out books, this story felt a bit like the skeleton of a story ready to be fleshed out.But it was still a very good story.My husband and I both enjoyed it.I look forward to reading the rest of the series. ... Best book in the series! For Ages 8-11
This was absolutely the best Dish book Diane Muldrow has written. It all starts out when Amanda Moore finds out she has been accepted to Spotlight Camp, a camp she was dying to get into a few months before. She's thrilled at the thought of being able to go and act her heart out with other kids all over the country! But Molly is less than happy about this news. She tries to hide her dissapointment, but somehow she just can't. How could she survive a summer without Amanda? Well, at least she has the rest of the Chef Girls...right? Wrong. Day after day, it seems like Molly's being left in the dust. Shawn goes away to Cheerleading Camp, and is very surprised to learn that Angie was suspended from the camp. Jessica wants to run away and join the circus teh same way her ancestor Jessamyn did.

What I think......
Ok, i have not read this book, but from the other reviews and the synopsis, I know what this book is about. People that are interested in Jessica and Elizabeth's family history should read, Sweet Valley Saga, The Untold Story (about their father's family) or Sweet Vally Saga, i cant think of the name but it is about the twin's mom's family... Jessymin is in that book. If you are thinking about it, read both of them because they go together very well. There are also books about the ancestors of Lila Fowler and Bruce Patman. Go for it!

Good-bye Elizabeth?
Elizabeth and her new boyfriend Scott Sinclair are being accepted into a new school far away,but Tom Watts wants Elizabeth back.I think the school is in Washington or Something. Elizabeth and Tom get back together.

I LUV THIS BOOK!
This book was probably one of the most exciting SVUs that I have ever read (I've read through the whole serious including thrillers...u could say I'm OBSESSED!) well anyways....I'm soo happy that after all this time Tom and Liz FINALLY got back together! Its so romantic and exciting how they finally confess their true love to each other exactly as the plane is about to take off whisking Elizabeth away with the evil and horrible sleaze also known as Scott Sinclair. I was realieved when they finally told each other they Loved each other because I mean I have been reading "Your not my sister", "Breaking Away", and finally this one "Good-bye Elizabeth" and i am so glad they are finally together again because i definatly think that Tom and Liz belong together (this sounds tacky but its like they have a spiritual connection as well as a physical one) So newayz..if u like the SVU books this is a must read must have book! Enjoy peoplez!

i rate this book 4 stars i mean come on what in the world jessica was thinking anyway? she shouldn't have done that to tom 'coz she did not even thing of what will happen in the future. It was a really good book...
I know a lot of people may think that the book Twins in the Tavern may not be such a good book, but I think it was. The book is about a boy named Taddy who was kidnapped by two men who robbed his house after his aunt and uncle died. He was forced to work in an inn called The Dog's Tail, where he mets Beatle, another kidnapped boy. Then Taddy (now called Toady), was hired to work in the a very rich house, where he sees a boy who looks exactly like him! Could this be the twin his uncle told him about? And if so, will he ever be able to confront him and tell him? the tavern

Tomie's Barker Books
I like this series of Tomie dePaola books and this is a cute story.I would recommend this for younger students and I would recommend the sequel "A New Barker in the House."Both are very cute and my students loved the the comparison of the twins and how they coped with school.
