Good Christian Message, a bit out-dated?
As a little shaver, I never especially enjoyed this type of light, comical book.Yes, I was a bit of a nerd, even back then.So, now that I'm a 24-year-old nerd, why did I decide to read a book intended for 4th graders?1)because I teach fifth and sixth grade now and the reading level of the book wasn't that far off.Why not see what the kids are reading these days?2)because it was sitting on the desk of the former 4th grade teacher's classroom where I eat my lunch and I was bored.So, why not read it. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS BOOK!!!
This book, like any other Wally McDoogle book, is hilarious!Wally visits his uncle in California, to find him a rich, famous stunt actor who has his own theme park!!!The trouble starts when Wally gets his shoelace stuck inthe baggage claim belt, then the endless mishaps continue.Wally begins toadmire his uncle more than his father and begins to think of his dad as a"plain, ordinary, loser".The story ends when Wally discoversthat, although cool, his uncle does not care about him enough to turn hisjetski around to rescue him when he is drowning.Wally's dad, however,comes through and ends up helping Wally stay above water long enough forhelp to come.It teaches that true heros are the ones that love you enoughto risk their lives for you. ... Why can't I rate this 999999999stars?
This is a GREAT book. I LOVE the Incredible worlds of Wally McDoogle!! I have read every single one, the first one I ever read was My Life as Dinosaur Dental Floss. My favorit is My Life as a Prickly Porcipine from Pluto. The book I am reveiwing is GREAT and RRREEEEAAAAALLLLYYYYY funny. I love Wally McDoogle.

Hilarious
Wally McDoogle gets into one scrape after another, always causing catastrophe after catastrophe.Now, he's been tricked into switching roles with one of his best friends, a girl named Wall Street.Unfortunately, during that period, a major football game takes place and the ballet "The Nutcracker" opens.Wally has to play Wall Street's part as the Sugar Plum Fairy, while Wall Street has to take his place in the football game. My life as a screaming Skydiver
This book is funnier than any TV show. The characters in thissuper funny book are Wally (the human catastrophe), Wallstreet a girl who wants to make $1,000,000 by the age of 13, and Opera who's pretty much a human vacuum. There are many settings in this story - The Swiss Alps, a laser tag store, the sewer, CIA headquarters, and 5,000 feet in the air. The problem in this story is BIG - REAL BIG and simple, Wally becomes (insert James Bond music here) 007th.
REALLY REALLY SPIFFY!!!
I've been a long time fan of Bill Myers ever since I was about 7. I got this when I was about 11 years old and I was laughing my butt off! It would make a nice gift for younger kids...or even teenagers. I mean, I'm 14 and still enjoy reading books of this series!

Polluted Pond Scum
I enjoyed My Life as Polluted Pond Scum because of its humor and adventure. I didn't want to put this book down.There's also a message and an action packed superhero story. The message in this one is, "bloom where your planted". If you enjoy all these things I suggest you pick it up and read it.

Alien Book
If you like books about Aliens you should read this book. It is a story about a boy who loves to write super hero stories on his lap top Betsy. He gets put on a commercial and everyone starts to like him. Everyone asks him favors but he can't do them. His best friend goes on the set and lets the baby fleas out all over everything. It is the funniest part of the whole book. If you read this book you will laugh yourself dead. It is very funny.

Hollywood meets Wally!
I liked this book because it uses much humor and teaches a valuabe lesson like all the "Wally McDoogle" books. In "Alien Monster Bait," Wally learns about pride and treating others more special than some people. My favorite part was when Wally got cut out of the film and Opera screamed longer than him.This is a great book- I recommend it for anyone with a sense of humor.

Alien Monster Bait:Two Thumbs Up!
I've read several books in this series,including this one.Wally McDoogle,a 12-year-old "Living Disaster Area" who writes superhero stories with the help of his laptop,Betsy,is best friends with Wall Street,who wants to make 1,000,000 dollars by the time she's 14,and Opera,who loves junk food and classical music.Each book is humorous,yet also teaches a lesson from the Bible.For me,that's rather versatile.In this book,Wally stars in a new movie.His popularity leads him to get the attention of Melissa Avarice,the prettiest,most popular girl in school,yet also leads him to forsake Opera.During a sermon,he realizes that he's not right in leaving his friend alone.Opera is raising fleas as a science project and comes-with the fleas-to see the film being taped.He screams and then is grabbed by "Gertrude",the monster.He ends up starring instead of Wally.I really enjoy all of these books.I'm trying to read them all. ... My Life As An Afterthought Astronaut
This book is hilarious! Bill Meyers writes alot of these My Life As books . I am 10 years old and I love his books. One day Wally Mcdoogle is at a rocket site in Florida.The tour guide is leaving and Wally drops his glasses in a space shuttle and goes to get them.While on board,he goes to the lower deck and dozes off.When he wakes up,the shuttle has taken off so he starts to float around and hit the walls.The space crew is on a mission to deliver a piece to the space station. When the crew finds out that they have an extra passenger, they radio ground control and Wally's dad asks Wally if he wants to stay up there so the pilots can finish their job.Wally replies yes because he likes it out there.I like this book because the situations Wally finds himself in are really funny.

this book was great I just finished reading it to my 8yr old son and we laughed all the way through it. now he is ready to read it by himself. It really got through to him on following the rules and what can happen when you don't.

This book was great.Almost every page has something funny on it.Wally is quite a clutz (president of Dork-Oids anonymous) who seems to be looking for trouble everywhere he goes.He doesn't stop, either, until he is really wound up in the problem and God helps him fix it.Each book in this series teaches a different Christian priciple accompanied by hilarious sarcastic remarks, the adventures of a bumbling clutz, and Wally's creative superhero stories.If you're looking for an action-packed, funny Christian book for kids 7-12, you've come the right place.In this particular book, he learns about giving gifts to Jesus.

Best book I've ever read in my whole entire life!
This book was really funny.I especially liked it when Wally thought the pink gunk was an atomic bomb.I don't like to read much, but I really enjoy reading Bill's books.He makes readingfun.

The Weirdo
Funny!This book was one of my favorite books because, one it was easy.Why was it easy, it was only 119 pages long and that it was funny.There is a weird kid who is always falling or hurting him self.Then he enters a contest to become popular and he wins.this guy named Mr.slicko who is wally Mcdoodles maneger in a way.He ends up saving people from danger.When the last chapter comes he ends up herting all the basketball players for his school by nocking all the lockers down by falling.So him and some othere weirdos who are horible at basketball.At the end he skips being popular an ends up with his original two best freinds.
Wally needs some depth!

Wally Mcdoogle finds himself in another life or death situation (Well, sort of). Learn important tips like never ride in a hot air baloon and never find yourself running away from a bull.This is also a book that teaches you to have faith in God.
