Great book for children and adults!
This is a great book that not only children will enjoy, but adults as well.It tells the story of a sea turtle's "interrupted journey" and how the animal is eventually returned to the sea.It was interesting and informative.I learned some sea turtle facts I didn't know before.I highly recommend it.It's a good book for the whole family to read together. ... My Visit To The Zoo
This book was very interesting, and I think this is a great book for kids to read. This informational, yet very interting, and fun to read book, tells kids a lot about animals. Even though this does talk a lot about information, I enjoyed it, and I think many other kids will to. Great message, but not a five star book...
I appreciate the message that this book sends, in teaching children about endangered species.The book spends most of the content in providing information on the animals in their habitats, yet tries to pass theinformation off in a story.I think the facts provided are wonderful forchildren to learn, and the illustrations do help lure the children intoasking questions, but overall the book lacks a little in keeping a child'sattention.Not quite a five star book, as a result, but very worthwhileinformation on endangered animals. ... The only creatures that can reflect every color in the rainbow
When I was a child I scoured the Kalamazoo Public Library for any and all books on the topic of albinism.This was in the days before the Internet, and my searches through periodical lists yielded paltry results at best.I tell you here and now that I would have killed, KILLED I say, for this book."Albino Animals" is probably the best non-fiction book on albinism currently available to youngsters.On top of that, the subject matter is just this side of fascinating.In it, we are privy to some of the rarest and most beautiful animals in the world.If you've a kid that absolutely has to read a non-fiction book on a topic of their choice, try persuading them along these lines.

Fun text and stunning photos; about animals & sea life
This is a wonderful book! The text leads us on a journey from early morning (before sunrise) through the night, traveling throughout Australia. Stunning photographs with bright colors, show the animals and sea life of Australia. The entire focus is on animals and sea creatures. The storyline is captivating and interesting. My children loved the text, which held their interest completely, and the supporting photographs. An example of the creative text is this line "Suddenly, a sea eagle explodes on the scene, dive-bombing before you." A Wild Trip
