Just not enough to pass the test
I've used a number of this Series of Books to pass my MCSE tests and CCNA, but this book just didn't cut it.I estimate that it was missing 30 percent of the questions asked on the test.I don't expect the book to cover everything possible for the test, but 70% of the information was completely unacceptable.

Book is good reference, but useless to pass exam
I totally share my thoughts with the previous critics. I also miss the exam for 1 question. Average IT book, unfortunately.
I just sat for this exam -- my 28th IT exam, and the second one I prepped for with a sybex book (the other being CCDA). Having seen past reviews, I decided to keep track of the amount of questions on my test that weren't covered in the book at all. There were nine, on a 40 question exam. In my opinion, that's pretty bad. Luckily I had run through a number of boson practice exams that covered the missing information. A number of practice questions on the CD focus around 'What tab will you find this on..' and interface navigation. This is silly, and I was pleased to not find these types of questions on the real exam. However, this only serves to lower my opinion of the CD. I'd probably try and find a different resource for this exam. Actually, I *did* try to, but this was a weekend project and I couldn't find anything else in stock.Read more

Thorough book and CD is a nice bonus
Wonderful book, although CD could have been more thorough, still, very, very good. And excellent customer support.

Decent till the last few chapters, cd quite bad
In the process of reading it to prep for my certification test, I found multiple problems with it. You can still pass using this book, but the experience will not be pleasing. Book Has Some Worth But...
I passed 220 today. This book has some worth. It follows the Citrix Guidelines as outlined on citrix.com. However, this box is filled with typos. Questions at the end of the chapters have many errors. Portions of chapters seem to be talking about MetaFrame 1.8. Furthermore, there were some questions on the exam mentioning Citrix subsystems, which were nowhere in this book. I used this book and the PDF's from Citrix's web site. This book is good for granular details like how much hard drive space, RAM, and color resolution you need for MF components. If you have never used MF XP, you will not pass with this book. Furthermore, I would seriously check out the Sybex book to compare it with this before purchasing. This is OK as a reference but only if you have the experience with the product to identify all of the typos (and there are lots!) ... Read more

Excellent
Still good as an exam cram and the last thing to read!

Not enough by itself
I found that this book gives a decent overview, but lacks specifics that need to be covered to pass the current version of the 1.8 CCA test.Supplement this book with cheet-sheets or something like that that has actual test questions.

Great book!!!
This book is well written, as are most of the Exam Cram books.I did pass the test with an 88% score.This book has great practice tests and hammers home what is on the test.But, I believe that you need more than one source to pass any test.I also used MetaPrep software (sample tests) and brain dumps.But, this book is great as a main study source.It provides the basic foundation of Citrix for the test. ... Luck I know what i'm doing...
This book was a horrible study guide.Although I passed the exam, there were plenty of discrepancies in the book, along with just plain wrong information.It's a good thing that I had been working on Citrix for some time before I took the test!

Piece of Cake
This is not a particularly difficult test. After reading this book, I took the Boson practice exams and then took the real test. I finished in 20 minutes with a score of 90%. This book has everything that you need to pass exam 218 -- it is complete and accurate as well as easy to read and understand. I doubt that I really even needed to take the time with the Boson tests, but if you want more experience with answering test questions, it is probably worth the extra [money] to get them.

Good book
This is a good book to study and learn about CITRIX. it is much more detail then anything that CITRIX has to offer. However don't rely on the questions in this book. They were not even close to the test that I took. If you study the material this book has to offer and undrestand it then it is a sure bet you will pass. ... Read more
