Simply excellent.
Well organized book that allows one quick and easy access to relevant imaging information for 100 H&N disease processes. The organization is perfect for the resident who is in need of a fast overview for a certain disease entity. Also would be perfect for the clincal resident ie- ENT, neurosurgery, skull base surgery. Good quality schematic diagrams and radiographs, although slightly larger images for some cases would be nice. Nevertheless, this is an excellent text.

Not a good book fora beginner or someone who uses MFC at all
This book is written with few samples, and nothing about MFC, the most popular way to program for Windows CE. It is really useless to anyone using MFC and a very bad title for anyone beginning CE programming.

Pass on this book for programming WinCE v2
The book appears to be written for version 1 of WinCE.The sample code was not formatted to fit the printed page and it is fairly difficult to read.If you are looking for CE 2 features such as the new UI elements, MFC or COM then this book is not for you. The one shining point of the book is it's coverage of the CE help system.

What you need to know before buying this book...
1. Disappointingly there is nothing on MFC (except to say it came out after the book was written). If you prefer non-MFC programming you'll like it.2. Be aware that previous windows programming experience and knowledge of C and C++ is most definitely required.3. The book is WindowsCE v1 only. No mention of WinCEv2 or v3.4. Some of the example listings are badly laid-out, making them hard to read (although the source is on the supplied CD-ROM)This is the first WindowsCE programming book I've seen, and it's already out-of-date. :-( ... Great For Beginners
I recently bought my own Palm and while the included manual seemed to cover all the bases I thought I'd have a look at a few other books. I found that this book had many hints and tips that weren't included in the official manual (ie how to make the Graffiti system recognise my handwritting a bit better!) Lifesaver
I'm not a computer geek and I don't want to be one.This book tells me exactly what I need to know to do what I need to do.If you want apractical guide to the Palm Pilot, this is the book for you.

Thick book with No Details
If you intend on Programming in VC++ for CE, don't bother getting this one.Every time I referenced this book, the information presented wasn't worth looking it up.Burdick's is a better choice.

Very good...better than all other books I've read on subject
This book covers a lot of what I needed.I've been programming CE for about a year and the CE doc's from Microsoft are "lacking". Highly recommend it for database access, creating shortcuts, and othergeneral info.Well written.Great first book for the beginning CEdeveloper with lots of useful stuff for the more advanced.
