The book is a analysis method database which contains a total of about 1700 analyte/method summaries involved in waters and soli waste analysis. The analytical methods were listed according to chemical names or CAS number in order to consult.In this point,it is more reasonable to published in electronic or web edtion. Needs to be updated
I didn't realize that the book was so old when I accepted Amazon's offer to bundle it with Admiralty in a Nutshell.This is a 1984 edition and, in the section I read, was really lacking some critical information.When discussion how the United States handles oil spills there is, obviously, no mention of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 - A HUGE omission.I suspect that there are other such discrepancies because of its age. ... Designed primarily as a problem-oriented coursebook, it would also be very helpful to anyone who is trying to wade through the morass of environmental statutes, regulations, case law, and policy statements. There are practice tips throughout, guiding you to web sites or help lines, for example. The book covers the gamut of environmental practice, including environmental compliance, enforcement, litigation and policy. Any first year environmental law firm associate would hold onto this book for dear life.

Smith, Currie & Hancock's LLP Common Sense Construction Law
A great introduction to Construction Law for any aspiring Project Manager or Construction Professional.

Great overview, but lacks some depth in places
This book was used as the text for a Construction Law case I took in law school.Overall I found the book to be very good.It was clear, concise, well written, and easy to understand.It also brought a pretty wide range of topics into the mix, and provided a fair amount of places to go for additional information (by way of case law).If I had to complain, and for the purposes of this review I will, I would make two comments: 1) There are areas where a little more depth would be nice.Frankly, I don't think the scope of this book really includes in-depth analysis on anything so this might be a non-issue for many folks.I just found that there were a few times (a very few) when I was looking for more information.2. This book does a really nice job incorporating definitions for new terms into the text.However, there are a LOT of new terms and a glossary would have beeen a nice addition to the text.
