Don't rely on this book for an online course
This book is filled with information but is not easy to follow. The ethical questions do not provide answers which leave you wondering if your own conclusions are accurate. The format tries to cover too much information without going in debth about anything.I used this book for an online accounting class and it was of very little help to me.This truly was one of the worst text books I've ever used.

Outstanding and comprehensive coverage of estate planning.
The book is so clearly written, with explanations followed by simple examples.It covers every aspect I could think of, with occasional advice that you could do this yourself, or sometimes that you really need a lawyer.If you have a substantial estate you will probably want to have an expert do the work.But you should read this book so you know what the expert is doing (or you could pay the expert $200-300 an hour to educate you on basics).Simply the best book Ihave read all year.

A Great Reference Book for Small/Home Based Business Owners
It is rare to find a great tax book like this - easy to read, understand and implement, with all authorities referenced. The information in this book is literally worth a ton if taken to heart and implemented - especially for small and home based business owners. A dollar saved by reducing taxes is worth much more of income generated. Pay the price of learning and implementing the concepts laid out in this book - I am confident you will be glad you did. Highly Recommended.

Tad Crawford Does It Again
Tad Crawford has written a whole series of books out of his expertise in the law and creative arts, with a special focus on photography.I'd suggest looking at Tad's other books, too, since this one is more action-focused without extensive explanations of the whys and wherefores of it.
Business and Legal Forms for Photographers
Appears to cover all the bases, including contracts, legal assistance, and many more forms than I ever imagined I might need. Very informative.

An Invaluable Resource
I didn't originally buy this book to "read".I bought it for the invaluable resources inside - the wealth of forms that any photographer needs to protect their work and their business.What makes this book so enticing is you don't have to photocopy, or redesign any of the forms since they're all included on a CD that comes with the book.That being said, I should mention that I was quite surprised at the thorough explanation for each form, and the situations where each form might be needed contained in the book.A person could undoubtedly pay hundreds (probably thousands) in legal fees assembling the information in this book on their own.This book is a photographer's "legal-resource-in-a-book".I highly recommend it. ... This book was a god-send! I was skeptical at first because I have no legal backround and I thought that making my own living trust would be complicated at best, impossible at worst. Even if you don't have an Ebay business, this book is so informative for those of us who just don't understand the behind-the-business scene. The Book to Get
I've just acquired several rental properties and needed a book that had tax information all in one place. I got a couple other books, but this one is the one that I use all the time. It's easy to read and understand while still explaining the nuances of tax law, and has good strategy and planning ideas for repairs/improvements etc. It also addresses what is and is not deductible as you are starting out (i.e. before you actually buy a property).
A must read!
This is a great book.It has the info, is easy to read and understand.I plan on reviewing this every year.Even if you have someone else do your taxes, it helps you in making business decisions with respect to taxes for your property.

Getting Notary Signature
My husband & I bought this product after reading the reviews on Amazon, so we thought it would be OK for residents of New York state. However, before you buy it, you should check with the laws of the state you live in, because in New York state, it is now our understanding that a Notary cannot sign & witness a Will. We completed the information on the Will. We had to cut & paste a part of it, because it left out information on my husband's Will. My Will printed all OK, but his had empty spaces no matter how many times we tried to print it. After the final paste, we went to find a Notary. We went to banks, and to the town hall, and everywhere we were told none of the Notaries would sign for a Will. One Notary told us she'd lose her license if she did. Finally we checked on line at New York laws, and based on the information there, we now have an appointment with a lawyer to make our Wills. So for us, we couldn't find any Notary to notarize our Wills.

There is much better will and trust software on the market.This software doesn't allow you to edit or make any changes in the document.It is not a word processor either.You cannot talor the document to you needs.Recommend you get another product or same your money. ... Read more
