Great photography
If you are looking for places to drive around PA, this is must have. The photography is amazing. It shows hundreds of places that you can visit on 1 or 2 day drives. It reminds everyone how diverse PA is.

keep looking, you will probably find it!
Although focussing on the rebuilding and some modification of a CJ5, this book lives up to its billing as a reference for all CJ models, even the earlier ones.The pictures are exceptionally thorough, and you can almost always find one of the model you are working on.The narrative is well crafted, and almost all needed explanations are included.The author has been successful in presenting needed steps and procedures that even an amateur can follow without bogging down in needless detail or cutting corners that the experienced reader would already know.I have been especially gratified that he includes procedures and information that the other "manuals" I use have omitted.This has been my "go to" source so far.Only weaknesses I see are that I have had to search, sometimes diligently, to find CJ2A information I needed, and the absence of parts numbers or exploded diagrams [including these was obviously not in his plan--further, they are readily available elsewhere].If I had access to but one manual, this one would be it.

Great book for the restoring sole!
I bought this book for my husband who is restoring a '56 Willies.We had look for manuals and books to guide him through the process and couldn't find any that he liked.I found this book on-line and decided to take a chance.I'm very glad I did!!!Read more

Beautiful book although it doesn't live up to its title.
This book is very beautiful. It has great pictures of each car from different angles, a short description of each car and lots of comments about certain details.

I thoroughly enjoyed looking at everything contained in Quentin Wilson's "The Ultimate Classic Car Book," but what it contains doesn't even come close to earning it the title, "Ultimate."

Airstream Land Yacht - History of the Airstream
Nice book on the history of the Land Yacht and the many global travels of airstream owners. Very few interior photos, so probably not the book for restorations but more to put in the rack once your restoration is complete. For interior photos, a more reliable source is www.vintageairstream.com Enjoy the book. We are.

Good, just not as expected
While this book offers much for those interested in the people behind Airstream, it offers little about the trailers themselves. Still, a good and interesting read.

Not What I Expected, Either!
Though never having owned an Airstream, I've always been interested in its development and history as the 'Cadillac' of travel trailers.This book was, for the most part, a disappointment.I was primarily interested in the trailers themselves.There are very few illustrations of floor plans over the years, of the development of the interiors and exteriors--after all, today's trailers are quite different from 40 years ago!A great deal of space is dedicated to a few Wally Byam caravans with some large, page-filling photos.Read more

Helpful Guide for RVers
Experienced or a beginner, RVers must learn a lot to care for their investment in a motorhome, fifth-wheel or trailer.This book has some advice I haven't seen elsewhere.

Amazing Guide for Collectors !
I started collecting Hotwheels cars about 3 years ago. What makes me different than most of the other collectors, is that I live in Santiago, CHILE (here, Hotwheels cars market is very small compared with other countries). Many of the variations and models that exist in US, aren't available here. Mike's guide has been an invaluable tool for me to get those variations I never know that exist or I will never find hanging in pegs in Santiago. Invaluable Resource For Collectors

Mike Covello is a real car guy and a Ferrari owner.He loves the marque and his passion shows in his writing - I follow his work as a regular contributor to Auto Week and Forza Magazine. Yes, this book does have a few warts probably the result of time pressure, the difficulty in confirming details and simple human error. But it's still one of those "must have" books that Ferrari fans need on their book shelves. I have a signed copy and consult it when I need to understand the differences between the many confusing (to me) models. An outboard collector's reference
After reading the 2nd edition of Peter Hunn's The Old Outboard Book I couldn't wait to get the revised and expanded 3rd edition. I take the book with me when I go looking for old outboards and swap meets. No better reference exists in my opinion.

The Old Outboard Book
This book has become the "Bible" for most outboard collectors.It has everything in one place.The big list ofalmost ALL known US outboard manufacturers,The price guide which is the only published guide of its kind, developed thru consultation with a good cross section of prominent and active collectors, Great Serial number guides, Spark plug charts, and much more.Peter's style is very readable, with a "story" connected to each brand. Hundreds of outboard collectors keep a copy in their car, while touring the country looking for additions to their collections.Most helpful to identify, and value that Garage sale or Outboard meet, find.HIGHLY recommended, especially for those new to the hobby.

Save Your Money
This book is stretched between a technical manual and a coffee table book way too tight. Hunn covers the larger manuf. with research that could be found on any historical website, and briefly touches on the rare and obscure in general descriptions.Do not rely on this book for technical information.Simply order specific parts lists for the motors you have. Exhaustively chronicled and well presented, this is the benchmark for books on the icon Ferrari.This car is and always has been a piece of art, the cars are beautifully created and the most stylish.The perfect car for the continental Italian.Ferrari is like everything italian, it just get's better with age.If you have any interest whatsoever in Ferrari, then i highly recommend this book, the images alone are worth the purchase, the book looks like it was designed by Ferrari.
