2-0 out of 5 stars A book about two topics: pardon and donation.
I listened to the audio version of this book. While most of the things said in this book may be true, it appears a bit biased. In addition to facts, the author uses some adjectives which show her personal dislike of the famous couple.
3-0 out of 5 stars FAILING TO CROSSOVER
"The much talked about Marc Rich pardon has become an appropriate symbol of the entire eight years, but Mrs. Olson does a commendable service by clearly detailing the effrontery of his (Rich's) misdeeds, and an even more skillful demonstration of the President's specious and insulting attempt to justify this shocking act. To add fuel to her raging fire, she quotes former President Jimmy Carter who openly stated "I don't think there is any doubt that some of the factors in his pardon were attributable to his large gifts. In my opinion that was disgraceful."
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent and bloody right!
All of you Clinton lovers should actually learn to not turn the blind eye on many of these things Clinton did during his presidency. The last few minutes before he was impeached.

2-0 out of 5 stars Hard to Believe without solid facts...
The Committee of 300 is an interesting read and I enjoyed the thorough breakdown of socio-political groups, organizations, etc. and their hierarchy. There is probably some truth there. But the author makes some allegations that are lacking in verifiable facts and belie a not-so-subtle political axe to grind. For example, the mass murders of 150,000 Iraqi troops (tavelling under a white flag of truce...) ordered by President Bush during the first Gulf War?The burying alive of 12,000 Iraqi troops again by the order of President Bush?Since the book was written prior to the Clinton presidency, it's hard to say if the author is merely anti-republican or just doesn't like the Bush family. There are only a few non-text pages in the book (again no documentation to support his assertions...) but one of them has a nice graphic of the hierarchy of the Masons which appears to be reprinted from an mid-20th century book. Given a choice, I would not have bought this book again.

4-0 out of 5 stars interesting set of events
The author is definitely a man of his time with use of words such as negroe, hispositive stance on nuclear energy, his sympathy for the Boers war against the wealthy imperialist and not the indigenous peoplesfor whom the land was stolen , his belief that Bayard Rustin is still head of organizations, his not calling Cecil Rhodes thegenocidal maniac that he was.In addition there is no call by the author to have repairs made to descendents of slaves for which most wealthyfamilies of America and England benefited according to Mr. Coleman .However despite that , very relevant points are made anda considerable amount of events discussed have come to pass, are currently happening and or measures are put in place so that some events will present themselves soon. The author seemingly put great detail and thought in telling the tale that is told and appears to be very compassionate, knowledgeable, forthcoming with his variety of information.I would very much like to know what happened in his life that would make an ex MI6 agent spill the beans.
4-0 out of 5 stars Committee of 300
I understand that Dr. Coleman didn't completely document his work. Most likely Dr. Coleman assumed, and shouldn't have, that most of the readers would have already been schooled in the remedial works of the globalists in our world. Not the least of which is the Council On Foreign Relations. The CFR is conspiracy hidden in plain sight and you have to have the brain the size of a pea to miss it.

Editorial Review

The plans of Adolf Hitler and the German Nazis to create a Nordic "master race" are often looked upon as a horrific but fairly isolated effort. Less notice has historically been given to the American eugenics movement of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Although their methods were less violent, the methodology and rationalewhich the American eugenicists employed, as catalogued in Edwin Black's Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars War agaisnt the weak, proves that we are no longer weak
Edwin Black writes books, that not only move you emotionally, but educate you with page turning energy. This is a book that will not only scare you and tell you about the horrors of what mankind can think of but how this type of horror can become "commonplace" in a society that goes mad. This book is relevant today as never before, as we are facing a crisis of war against the "infidels", which in its own wayis a war against the weak, or the politically correct who refuse to acknowlege that we are fighting a war of terror, under the guise of religion, and one party choosing who lives and who dies. This book is well researched, documented, and filled with facts. Bravo to Edwin Black. Now if only the State department could reead this.................

3-0 out of 5 stars History as Pop Culture
"War Against the Weak" takes American history as a facet of pop culture. While factually based, Black undermines the historical importance of eugenics and the debate. Black, a journalist by nature, is not a historian and his book should not be taken as a solely historical text. While he does cite his evidence, Black only touches the surface of Eugenic history. Ultimately, "War Against the Weak" was written for popular reading and is an adequate basis for those with no knowledge on the subject

5-0 out of 5 stars Horrible history - important book
Black is researched and sourced to the point his index requires its own hardcover publication. His book is somewhere between straight reporting and a cry for justice, but Black is no drama queen. This is a well documented, studiously researched and well-written journal of how American eugenics gave nod to mass murder in Europe. Black is nothing if not deliberate in his sourcing and is as learned on the subject of eugenics as anyone. Well worth the time. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Tragedy of the Tragically Unaesthetically Pleasing Review
"The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare proves to be an amazing read if one thoroughly enjoys the challenge of deciphering the selective form of writing and occasionally complicated dialect. This classic play is based on the true, factual account of the assassination of Julius Caesar as it truly took place in 44 B.C. Of course, Shakespeare has completely made the story his own through the use of comic relief, characterization, and wonderful original composition. Julius Caesar, the ambitious and prideful dictator of Rome, has returned home from a victorious battle against his fellow Triumvirate, Pompey. As he celebrates and relishes his absolute power, little does he suspect the growing opposition of conspirators, some of whom he would never expect. This read is certainly worthwhile if one has a good taste for tragedy and does not mind a challenge.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great edition of a great play
I really enjoyed reading this edition of the play. Each scene is proceded by a summary of the secene and followed by commentary on the scene, and there are notes alongside the text explaining unusual words/phrases. As an actor, I have been reading Shakespeare for quite awhile, and I still found this book very helpful. If you are new to reading Shakespeare, I particularly recommend this because you will find it very helpful.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Shakespeare Classic
Shakespeare wrote Julius Caesar in about 1599. The play was the first of three Roman plays. Shakespeare based the source material for the play on a translation of a work by the Greek philosopher and biographer Plutarch, called "The lives of the Noble Greeks and Romans". Shakespeare, like Plutarch, praises and criticises the actions of the main characters in the assassination of Julius Caesar. However, the historical events in the play are fairly accurate, although the playwright sometimes changed the sequence and timing of events and added his limitless imagination to produce a timeless play that has been enacted and enjoyed by millions of people worldwide over the centuries.

4-0 out of 5 stars IS DAVID ICKE STARTING TO MAKE SENSE?
It's easy to simply reject someone who says the world is run by manipulative reptilians posing as world leaders; that George Bush, Tony Blair, the British monarch, and many other prominent people are blood-drinking child-abusers who engage in secret rituals unknown to the rest of us. Despite David Icke's seemingly outrageous claims, I found some logic as well as interesting and possibly credible theories in Tales From the Time Loop. In contast to his earlier books, he has shifted his beliefs in a more positive direction. It sounds a lot like he is embracing spirituality and the immortality of the soul. He accepts the existence of the astral world, a place or state with many levels occupied by beings with numerous agendas and understandings of the universe. But he rejects reincarnation as separate lifetimes ("there is no time") or that life in a human body is a journey toward perfection. In Icke's version of reality, there is no karma, no need to make up for evil deeds or mistakes. Everything is an illusion. What is missing in his framework, in my opinion, is purpose. Why does reality exist? Why are we here playing these games?
5-0 out of 5 stars No room left for cowards...
This is a great and challenging book, not for the faint of heart.David Icke presents a vision of the world which is radically different from the one which we are spoonfed from cradle to grave.Think of the courage it takes to get up on the world stage and bring forth this kind of information.People who pan Icke (and others in the truth movement) are nothing more than staid cowards, unwilling to integrate and adapt...worst of all, unwilling to listen and think these things through.Bottom line: read this book and pass it on to friends; time is running short and our freedoms are eroding before our eyes. It's time to wake up and rise to our true and magnificent human potential...and Icke is here to help on us our way.

5-0 out of 5 stars Since this seems to be a pissing ground for Icke's fans/antifans
I just thought I'd add my two cents.Whether or not you take Icke literally (did we learn anything from taking the bible literally?) you have to admit that he does challenge our belief systems.I think this is what he is really all about. He is more of an artist than a conspiracy theorist. In order to see how far deep we are in our own version of reality, he is pulling us way out into another so that we may get a fresh, anthropological perspective on our own situation.

2-0 out of 5 stars The "Conspiracy": The World's Worst Kept Secret
THE CURE CONSPIRACY by Gayle K. Wood suggests via its title that it is anti-traditional medical science and pro natural remedies, sort of like a scaled down version of Kevin Trudeau's iconoclastic NATURAL CURES "THEY" DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW. This book is nothing of the sort. It strictly follows the FDA and AMA party line of accepted treatments. About the most "natural" remedies that Wood endorses is drink lots of water and herbal tea, do yoga, and have hypnosis for pain. The so-called other "natural" cures Woods frowns on--DHEA, Guggul for cholesterol control, and chelation therapy--she relegates to quackery. Conversely, other "natural" cures she endorses--Botox, Dairy for weight loss, and magnets for osteoarthritis--are now increasingly seen as useless at best and harmful at worst by naturopaths and herbalists.

5-0 out of 5 stars Catch the spirit of service...
It's easy for those of us who have been involved in church life for many years to get in a rut. We attend services, maybe even volunteer in some ministry in our church, but there is something missing. Steve Sjogren's Conspiracy of Kindness shows everyday Christians what might be missing in their faith journey, doing the things that Jesus might do if he were living in our city.
5-0 out of 5 stars Being a Christian 101
If people read the author's bio and see that he founded a large (mega) church in Ohio using the principles and practices from this book, they might think of this book as a "How-To" on having a big church. I think that really misses the point of what is being offered here.
5-0 out of 5 stars CHANGE YOUR LIFE--CHANGE YOUR COMMUNITY!
Steve Sjogren's book, Conspiracy of Kindness, is nothing short of prophetic. It is a breath of fresh air that will renew the valley of dry bones that has become traditional western evangelism. It is more than a mere thesis on practice and doctrine. Not only is it biblically sound, it is quite practical. The book works as a field manual for both the neophyte Christian looking to share their faith with others, as well as the sage pastor or evangelist facing the daunting task of powerfully impacting and changing their community.

2-0 out of 5 stars Poppycock
This is political `poppycock', as each party in the USA continue to `blackmail' their opponent by any means possible, to the consternation and shocking surprise of millions of people who have not yet been nourished with this sort of `democratic civility'.(!!!!)

5-0 out of 5 stars buffoonish paranoid rant that belongs in everyone's grocery cart
Anthony Sutton did the world a big favor with this book, exposing the juvenile poppycock that passes for "scholarly analysis" of the diabolical "New World Order" centered around the mysterious Skull and Bones society. One must suspect that Mr. Sutton spent tap night all alone in his dorm room nursing a warm Michelob.
5-0 out of 5 stars Kerry vs. Bush the Fake Election Contest
This book is the history of the people who are currenty running the world. They are basically wealthy businessmen who belong to this elite Yale fraternity. They workied with Hitler against the Allies. They play by their own rules and use the CIA. The brotherhood of the bonesmen is sacred above all else. So in 2004, what did we have? Two bonesmen from elite Yale families. That may explain Mr. Kerry's lack of effort in fighting the election fraud. Read the book and you will be less surprised when the country breaks out in civil war between the classes.

5-0 out of 5 stars A through academic look at a THE powerful and mysterious secret society
Sutton's book is a thorough academic treatment of America's most powerful and most mysterious secret society--the Order of Skull & Bones at Yale University. The book is very scientific in form--Sutton states hypotheses and then sets out to prove them with facts, some of drawn from secret membership lists, but most of them publicly available.Using this method, Sutton is "going to argue and present detailed precise evidence (including names, dates, and places) that the only reasonable explanation for recent history in the US is that there exists a conspiracy to use political power for ends which are inconsistent with the Constitution."Sutton's stance is that an order founded in 1832 has set out to conspire to control US policy for their own means, in an illegal, secret, conspiratorial manner.

Editorial Review

While no one came out of the Monica Lewinsky scandal looking good, David Schippers, the chief investigative counsel for the Clinton impeachment, wants to be sure Americans know just who contributed to the debacle and how. A trial attorney and a Democrat, Schippers was hired by Republican congressman Henry Hyde to lead an oversight investigation of the Justice Department, then was redirected to handle the impeachment. The quintessential honest man, Schippers was shocked, not so much by Clinton's actions (which he calls a far-reaching conspiracy to obstruct justice with perjury, lies, and witness tampering), but by Republican and Democratic politicians who sold out the impeachment process. 5-0 out of 5 stars Thank You, David Schippers
Anyone who thinks Clinton did not deserve to be impeached should be ashamed of themselves, and should have their wives and daughters subjected to "The Clinton Treatment" which David Schippers does such a yeoman's job of documenting in this succinct and well-written expose. Such an amoral person--and any supporter of Clinton would have to amoral, practically by definition--should also read more from independent, non-corporate-owned news sources. For if they did so, they would soon be confronted with the staggering plethora of other, more heinous crimes committed by Clinton and his Arkansas Mafia.
1-0 out of 5 stars Recent history revised
This is quick revisionism from a hired gun. Perhaps the events of the Clinton presidency are too soon for anyone, liberal or conservative, to be objective, but it will never happen if people keep buying books like this.

3-0 out of 5 stars Knowledge is Power?
The fragments of stories that arise from the Clinton impeachment period grow further and wider with each retelling of the story from the perspective of many who claim to know what everyone else doesn't. The analysis of each of these books reminds us that like today in the case of the Iraq War and the Bush first term, the American people actually know very little of the behind the scenes events, or their accuracy. What is clear, however, is that the White House environment has for some time now become one of the most hostile territories ofAmerica's political structure. It certainly seemed to be from the earliest time that Clinton took office until the time he left. Who knows how much is true, or false, and how it may, or may not, have been handled, and by whom? Though we may get some inkling of how the White House is designed to work from theWest Wing series, it may well be the ideal, and not the reality. If everything that has been told about Clinton was true, the American people would have seen the greatest Jeckyll and Hyde act of all time, it seems, and that would be doubtful and improbable. If it is true, it would be unusual that Hillary would want to run for President, and the people of America may need to give far more scrutiny to the Presidents it chooses than they have in the past. Either way, the impact has been felt in all quarters of the nation, and will not likely be easily forgotten. Questioning how much knowledge the people have, and how much power over the office people have are critical issues at this time in America because of the accumulated knowledge we have of all past Presidents, that grows with each new review of what America thought she knew, but found later she didn't. ...
