4-0 out of 5 stars interesting find...
the book did have some valid points and ideas about conspiracy's but some of them seemed a little too far fetched. I noticed that if u look at the front cover in whiteor bright light carefully you can see the numbers 666 on the mans forehead and a certain man named aleister crowly has a mention in this book....coincidence? thats the only thing i found particulary odd about the book.

5-0 out of 5 stars For the Openminded
This book doesn't pretend to be 100% true. The editor Keith even warns to the introduction of some articles that this or that particular one may be deliberate disinformation. However, as he notes in the introduction to the book, most media is unwilling to even allow the public to consider ideas that are counter to accepted dogma and make up their own minds, and the purpose of the book is to stimulate debate.1-0 out of 5 stars Couldn't even finish it

This book tells the story of the gagging of the whistle-blowers, who predicted that `9/11 was going to happen' and `was allowed to happen'.
1-0 out of 5 stars NORAD
NORAD told the 9/11 Commission they couldn't locate errant aircraft on 9/11 because the planes turned off thier transponders! Wow, too bad the Soviets folded (Sic) back in 1991. Little did the Soviets know that all they had to do to defeat America was to ensure that the transponders on their Cruise missiles and Black-Jack bombers were turned to the OFF position! Sander Hicks posits that Bush & Co. let 9/11 happen. The big lie NORAD told the 9/11 Commission confirms Bush & Co. made 9/11 happen.

5-0 out of 5 stars Surpringly Good
What the author set out to do he did well, this book is very well ordered and researched. I was hoping to read things on propulsion systems and see pictures of UFO's, but there was none of that, only pictures of various men and documents here and there. Tho that was very disappointing, regardless, he showed what he said he would. This is an excellent book to have regardless of it's narrow topic, because it shows what a liar the U.S. Government is, and how it can hardly be trusted to tell the truth. Besides that, I found it to be interesting to see what the FBI truly knew. Apparently, it didn't know much in J. Edgar Hoovers' days.

4-0 out of 5 stars Bruce Maccabee is a legitimate UFOlogist
When trying to choose a book about UFOs, you may not know how to avoid the flaky ones. This is a thoroughly researched and well written book, and a must-read for anyone beyond the initial stages of reading on UFOs. Bruce Maccabee is a solid, methodical investigator with years of background in UFO studies. 3-0 out of 5 stars They know more than they are telling us

5-0 out of 5 stars The Truth Is Out There
It's been five years since 9/11 and most people are little nearer to understanding this epoch-making event than they were on the day itself. During this period the US administration have been repeating ad nauseum that a small group of poorly-armed Islamic terrorists were solely responsible for the attacks. Many of us intuitively feel that 9/11 was much more than this, a feeling augmented by the findings of experienced scientists and engineers, who have amassed tantalising evidence of foul play. Yet, facing that apparently impenetrable wall of official denial, people now suspect that we will never confirm our deepest suspicions about 9/11 - that the real perpetrators were not Islamic terrorists but a far more sophisticated and dangerous cabal. Could it be that this situation was forseen and a kind of key given, so that the truth could be revealed to humankind?
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing Book!
If you're sick of the popularity of the Davinci code and how it bashes Christian traditions, you will absolutely love this book! There is more real codes on any page of this book than any 10 of the DVC. Thought provoking and even mind boggling in places, there is more than enough evidence here to prove that the bible and its many end-times propehcies are as real as it gets!

3-0 out of 5 stars Quite a surprise
I didn't pay much attention to any of these 911 conspiracy theories until after a friend of mine gave me this book. In fact I put it aside for almost a month before finally reading it. I have to say that it was much more interesting than I expected, it really isn't a conspiracy book at all, at least not in the classic sense. The first few chapters alternate between Revere's personal experiences and bigger events in hopes that the reader will understand the numerical framework that ties Tarot and biblical prophecies together. Revere seems to have thrown almost every possible occurance in to the mix, hoping to convince readers of his premise. Some of these are more successful than others, but the ones that are succesful are very hard to ignore. The 11's and 22's in the bible, the Statue of Liberty and even in movies were the hardest for me to get over, in fact I went out and rented the movie National Treasure just to see for myself. I came away a little bit freaked out, and am now reading portions of the book again. Much of it moves really slow, but I seem to appreciate it more the second time. If you want to learn anything about the Bush administration, military or intelligence operations during 911, this isnt the book for you. This is much more of a theological work, but is interesting none the less.

4-0 out of 5 stars Revolation for the Hell of it.
This was the first writings of Hoffman I had ever read.It rewrites history and covers things I had never been expossed to.It is a dark book with energy and spunk. It reflects the things we are going through now with the same type of goverment tricks. We must take back of country from the frat boys who are running it into the ground.

5-0 out of 5 stars Revolution For Autonomy and Freedom
A great book! A revolutionary book. Yes, a sign of it's times and yet very relevant to this time in respects to action and freedom, long lost ideals in today's Right wing conservative society, at least by the majority. Although it was only a segment then too, it was a greater segment amidst a large sea of liberal tolerance and open dialogue. Obviously there was much Right conservativism then too, and staunch power control conservativism within the Democratic liberal front as seen by the whole Chicago convention affair, Mayor Daley, the brutality of the cops and so forth. Even on St. Marks Place in NYC, Hoffman speaks of the heavy police presence and harassments. So much of what is written at that time applies to today and it's overkill and abuses of privacy and freedom, all excused under the new "war on terror" banner flying through out and it's blinded patriots and nationalists. 5-0 out of 5 stars Revolution? For the hell of it!
In his first book, Abbie Hoffman gave us an almost comical view of the revolution which he helped to jumpstart through the late 1960s. Through the humour, which has always been one of Abbie's strongpoints, you do see the sincerity of the man, and his cause (mainly civil rights, and anti-war) as well as his idea of what america (always spelled with a little "A") is supposed to be. I can't help but wonder though...what the movie was like. ... Read more

While many former Bush administration officials published booksairing their gripes and concerns in advance of the 2004 election, few werein a situation as personal as Joseph Wilson's. A career diplomat, he foundhimself working for an administration that apparently leaked informationrevealing his wife, Valerie Plame, to be a CIA operative soon after Wilsoncast doubt on Bush's claims of Iraq trying to buy uranium from Niger. Whencolumnist Robert Novak named Plame, there was widespread speculation aboutwho leaked the information. In Read more

Ahh... There's one thing that always comes to light after some time has passed: Truth. As it turns out, Mr. Wilson himself had as much to do with 'outing' his wife (of a different name) as Armitage. His book is a lie and his self-aggrandizing remarks on his work in Iraq are horribly flawed. He was responsible for making sure the toilets ran. That hardly make him a hero. The real shame is that there are so many individuals out there whom will hold onto any scrap (imagined or faked), or believe even the most obvious of liars to substantiate their railings against President bush. It's a shame... Pie, anyone? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Failed Frame-Up of a "Crime of the Century"
It was a dark and stormy night in the Bahamas. The next morning July 8 , 1943 Sir Harry Oakes, one of the richest men in the British Empire, was found murdered in bed. This made page one news around the world. Oakes was a crude, tough man who became fabulously rich by finding a rich gold mine in Ontario (p.5). He was rich enough to buy a title from the British Crown (p.6), and still had the rude manners of the rough and tumble mining camps. Oakes had business problems and planned to move to Mexico. Bahamas had low taxes, and a bank that laundered money (p.8). 5-0 out of 5 stars Good rendition of a mystifying historical event.
I found A Conspiracy of Crowns very good. As far as I know there are 3 books written concerning this offically unsolved mystery. Only Alfred de Marigny gives a first hand account of the events surrounding it. I lived in Nassau 14 years after the occurrence, and rumours and stories continued to abound even then. The conclusions that Mr. de Marigny came to regarding the perpetrators of this crime are very logical and feasible. 2-0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately, the Only Book on the Topic
The murder of Sir Harry Oakes and the subsequent investigation, together with a supreme cast of characters, cries out for some actual literary talent to come to bear on the subject. Unfortunately, very little in theway of ability is evident here. Sir Harry Oakes was one of the early landmerchants of Nassau and a friend and cohort of various British socialluminaries of the post-WWII-era, including the Duke and Dutchess ofWindsor. What could be a compelling account of his mysterious murder, whichhas never been solved to satisfaction to this day, is instead a clumsilywritten attempt at conspiracy grasping and groundless guessing on Marigny'spart. The actual writing was no doubt done by Mickey Herskowitz, who hasbeen paid to ghost-write numerous books. For those who have spent enoughtime on the island to be acquainted with its history and legends, this isthe only source I'm aware of for any treatment of the story. That's ashame. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Elephant left the room a little too early.
I originally heard the author being interviwed on NPR and was intrigued by the topic.Mr. Erubavel aptly laid out the "elephants" that he would discuss. His topics were right on the mark and every reader can identify with one of his examples either through personal or through a family member or friend's experience.

1-0 out of 5 stars Warning- Look Before You Buy!!!
This book is actually only eighty or so pages long with average type face. The rest of the book is just the reference page. The price of the book may be expensive to some people and Im just giving a warning beforehand that if you can check this book out at a local bookstore and look through it before purchasing it online to save some cash then do so because its a pain when you order something via the internet and then when you get it, it turns out that it isnt what you were expecting, or you felt that it wasnt worth the money you've spent on it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Compelling
The amount of research invested is impressive. The arguments the authors present is decent and I say that because when I originally picked up this book I expected some wack-o conspiracy theory bs. There is solid tangible arguments behind what they are conveying.
5-0 out of 5 stars Just another review.
When I first learned about the case, I was sure of it to be murder. I read this book, and my feelings were confirmed even stronger. This book examines things very well and digs deep under the surface. It makes the murder case even stronger. I decided to read it again, a little less thank a year after the first time. Although upon completion, I felt differently. I don't know what caused it, but my veiws on the subject completely changed. I no longer blamed Courtney. I no longer went on believing something that had yet to be proven. I'm much happier now that I'm no longer ignorant enough to blame someone for something that hasn't been deemed true. I feel I owe that to this book for whatever reason it might be.

5-0 out of 5 stars Only one problem...
I think the one problem with some of the theories presented in this book is that if Kurt was killed with the fatal dose of heroin injected, then how did his hand freeze around the barrel of the gun when the shotgun was discharged into his head? There is no way to simulate that with a dead body that gets shot.It seems a bit too precise, but it also doesn't look like suicide.Especially since I have experienced the corruption in the SPD first hand, and they ruled out murder before an investigation took place and refuse to re-open the case, or even develop the photos taken at the crime scene."We dont develop photos for suicides"......???

2-0 out of 5 stars Oh, where do I start.
Well, for one. I didn't see what Kurt's sex life had to do with the book's investigation. In fact I don't need to know what he did between closed doors, and frankly neither does anyone else. Also this book is long and drawn out. Though, there is a lot of facts that point out some weird unsettling clues about his death, there also isn't any obvious evidence that Courtney Love was behind it. Hell, I highly doubt that she could devise a plot to murder her husband, when she can't even stay sober long enough to perform on Jay Leno. And Finally. Even if Kurt Cobain was murdered, do you think this book could bring him back. No. Be it suicide or homicide, he died and unfortuneately for his family, friends, and fans there's no changing that.
1-0 out of 5 stars Totally wasted
So Courtney lied.

I'll never forget the night 1990's talking head Joe Conason went on TV to promote this book.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Facts are on the Table
This book lays out the attacks on the Clinton in full detail. While you could probably guess the things done by Falwell, Starr and the unrepentant segregationists in Arkansas; it was illuminating to see the machinations of Tripp, Isikoff and others I never could have named before this book.
5-0 out of 5 stars More Ignorant one-star reviewers
I've read the book - it's fact-filled and covers virtually every aspect of the Whitewater (in particular) period. And now we have here the typical string of ranters who give no evidence of having opened, let alone read, the book. But I'll bet they all own a copy of "The Clinton Chronicles" - probably purchased through Jerry Falwell. By the way, this book fleshes out the same period covered by David Brock in "Blinded By The Right" -which is a quicker read but has the advantage of being written by someone who was actually part and parcel of the right-wing hit squads. Taken together, these two books not only portray all the deceit, rush to judgment, sloppy journalism from so-called "liberal newspapers", but give lots of evidence that there was a right-wing conspiracy long before Monica. Sorry, one-star reviewers: the Arkansas Project was just a bunch of wackos, liars and self-promoters.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great book by a great author !
If your're interested in fiscal policy, national debt, and money, you would very much enjoy this book. With surgical precision, Sutton has concisely made his case against the Federal Reserve establishment. This book will not intimidate you nor bore you with financial details, but will instead enlighten you about financial matters. Despite its title, this book is not about conspiracies but about facts. The passing of the Federal Reserve Act was the beginning of the biggest sell out in our history at the hand of our politicians. It was a watershed event that led to the privatization of our financial and political establishments, and to the loss of our nation's financial sovereignty forever.

Along with Nick Redfern's new book "on the trail of the saucer spies" this latest by longtime conspiracy investigator Kenn Thomas is the work of complete genius.

2-0 out of 5 stars A topic worthy of a better book.
This book is too poorly written to read and understand. Problems in organization, narrative style and structure, plus an occasionally annoying narrative voice, make it difficult to figure out what is going on. The time sequence is random and much that is irrelevant is mixed in and has to be sorted through. 5-0 out of 5 stars Others Unknown
I read this book in 1999 and have shared it with many friends and family.I had the privilege of meeting Stephen Jones and immediately got the sense this was a man with integrity and a very strong belief in the Constitution of the United States.5-0 out of 5 stars "Others Unknown"--MUST reading for everyone
As a citizen of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City, I was incensed when Stephen Jones, an Oklahoma Lawyer, wrote a book about his attempt to defend McVay--the man who blew up the Murrah Building in our town.Jones had to have a guard when discussing the first edition of his book in the Library in Perry Oklahoma (where McVey was jailed when picked upon Interstate 35 on the way back to Kansasafter the Bombing). Oklahoma people, to say the least, were not happy with Mr. Jones. After McVay published his own book, thus releasing Jones from his Lawyer's oath of Confidentiality, Jones wrote what I call "the rest of the story." I was still not impressed, and I was not going to enrich him by buying one of his books. After 911, I realized that thesecond edition of his book was written AFTER both World Trade Center#1, and Oklahoma City, and BEFORE World Trade Center II (911). Much of Johes' wanderings about the world in his effort to defend McVay, suddenly began to seem like something I should know about, as a Citizen of this country at this time in history. I bought a copy, and am awe-struck by the information in that book that might have had a bearing on "911"...One must discount all of the "losing lawyer's grumbling" about his poor treatment by the winning side; that is normal in Trial Lawyer Books...It is the portrait of international terrorism that he discovered, and wrote about in this book while preparing for that trial, that is engaging.I doubt if there was anything in this book that would have prevented "911"..but looking back sometimes is the only view of the future that we can have in such times. Perhaps McVay's only patriotic deed near the end of his life, was to free Mr. Jones to write this book, by publishing his own work. Two of McVay's co-defendants are still alive...one is awaiting trial in Oklahoma City for his part in over 160 murders....Find this book at the Library or somewhere and read it. No,I DO NOT KNOW MR. JONES. Clarence RobisonM.D. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars It may be biased as hell, but its a fascinating read.
Lets be honest, this book shouldnt be taken as fact. It's another highly embellished anti-masonic writer who has something out for the Freemonry Brotherhood, but it's so full of conspiracy theories (written as conspiracy fact) that one wonders whether or not David Duchovny is tracking some Freemason X-file.For anyone interested in pseudo-history, this is the book or them. Not that it's all false. It's much along the lines of "Holy Blood, Holy Grail".There's some relatively unbiased stuff about the formation of the order.I'm just glad i read it before Dan Brown can dissect it for his latest work of historical plagiarism.

1-0 out of 5 stars Anti-Masonic Book
Beware! This is an anti-Masonic book and should not be looked upon as a book to provide actual facts concerning Freemasonry. This book is recommended only if one wishes to see the nonsense the anti-Masons are saying about Freemasonry.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of most important things you will ever read 2 survive
Freedom of the press around the world is rather an illusionary lie. Most of the corporate conglomerates have monopolized free speech and freedom of expression that goes hand in hand with it. Each citizen that fails to learn the massive destruction to freedom that has occurred in the G-8 nations is an impediment to that which I try to do for you peacefully, truthfully, and in the true spirit of friendship.

Editorial Review

Few people have been as involved in the major political investigations of the last 40 years as Senator Arlen Specter, the independent and tenacious Republican from Pennsylvania. With the help of his former press secretary Charles Robbins, Specter tells all, beginning with his prosecution of the Philadelphia Teamsters during Robert Kennedy's anticorruption investigations and ending with his role in President Clinton's impeachment proceedings. Specter is perhaps best known for his controversial opinions. As a member of the Warren Commission, he authored the Single Bullet Theory, which supported the charge that JFK was assassinated by a lone gunman. And as Anita Hill's Senate questioner, he declared that Clarence Thomas's accuser had committed "flat-out perjury." But his book presents a picture of an evenhanded man who has merely acted according to his belief that the nation's "political and social health ... rests on government's doggedly following facts to find truth and then acting on that truth to create public policy." In fact, his purpose in publishing the behind-the-scenes activities of the Warren Commission, Robert Bork's Supreme Court nomination, the Ruby Ridge investigation, the Thomas-Hill proceedings, and the presidential impeachment, is to restore the public's faith in government and end conspiracy theories born of incomplete facts. "Had congressional oversight on Waco been as effective as it was on Ruby Ridge," he writes, "the militia movement would have been less motivated to mobilize. It is even conceivable the Oklahoma City bombing could have been avoided."Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The Single-Bullet Theory Is As Logical And True Today As It Was In 1963-1964 .... And Everyone Should Know Why
Virtually all conspiracy theorists who are of the opinion that President John F. Kennedy met his violent death on November 22, 1963, as the result of an evil, elaborate plot orchestrated and carried out by _________ (the roster of potential assassins and conspirators is nearly endless to use in this blank space), are also of the opinion that Mr. Arlen Specter and the Warren Commission he worked for in the year 1964 were all wet and/or full of stinky fecal matter when it comes to the three words that have sparked debate the world over since the President's assassination -- the "Single-Bullet Theory".
