The making of an elder culture
Longevity Revolution is an intellectual adventure, a tour de force. Danger
We must read literature regarding aging with a critical and cautious mind.While many people seek to reify stereotypes and wordfacts about the aging process, it is important to explore these assertions before absorbing them into our thinking about older adults and the aging experience.Posner makes some rather ageist remarks in this text, particularly as he justifies age discrimination in the workplace.Any reader of this book must realize the perspective of its author, and question his credentials that qualify him to write on such an issue.While gerontology is a multidisciplinary field, it cannot tolerate ageist contributors.

How to understand the socio-economic impact of aging
Broadly researched and well-referenced, this clearly-written book is a realistic take on the coming age wave. It openly challenges both the fear-mongerers and the brave new world types. The ideas are compelling and extremely well-presented. The scope and detail of his reseach is far beyond that of average writers.

Perhaps the best book ever written on the subject

LIKE FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT, PEG BRACKEN STILL ACHIEVES AT 80+!

Gregory's book is very helpful in understanding what factors can win an age discrimination action.His clear and concise case studies are used to illustrate the main legal points and how the courts have changed over recent years in their requirements for success.It has in several ways become more difficult to win age discrimination cases and Gregory explains how and why very clearly. An excellent resource to help you decide....
if you wish to become a plaintiff, and as a source of information, wisdom and comfort, if you do take action against your employer. The explanations are worth a thousand bucks.
There is very little written on the subject of age discrimination in employment that ventures to explain the whole process for the Plaintiff.This author is very credible to me both in providing behavior insights and process descriptions.It raises my confidence that older workers can gain a good understanding of the steps they need to take when they face the problem of age bias in employment. ...
