Value depends on what you are looking for...
If you are looking for a "Toyota Way" level of insight in to Honda, it's definitely not here.If you want a manual for how to implement Honda's BP tools, it's not here.The BP material seems to be mostly just treated as magic that floats in and produces fantastic gains.

Outstanding and thourough
This book is exceptional and details all the finer points that you must know when thinking about, or have purchased one of these fine cars. Take the time and read through this book and it will give you years of knowledge. The book will also educate you as to the correctness of the Chevrolet you either have, or are looking at. It also will help verify myths with acctual facts and documentation as tho the true nature of the cars and their history.

Chevy by the Numbers 1965 - 1969
By using this book, I figured out what year and model the block, heads and assembly date were for the motor in my 1956 Chevy Nomad. I new nothing about the motor. I now know what I have.

Nice history
The book has a fairly detailed history of the Lexus brand and division, with interesting photographs along the way.It is corporate-sanctioned, of course, so at times it does read a little like an advertisement for the brand.

I Love It!
Since LEXUS is my favorite car in the world, I did not hesitate a second when I knew that a book about it came out. Finally its here, leXus is a very good book about LEXUS
This is a good and complete account of the development and progress of Lexus. The author covered everything the reader would like to know in a very simple to read and organized way. Mr. long was able to balance his book with technical information, business success, and the social impact of this car. In addition, every single model was covered in a section in the order the car was introduced, which makes the book very reconcilable with personal experience. No one interested in Lexus would be left disappointed after reading this book, because again it covers everything fairly well. Furthermore, the book is loaded with beautiful pictures and adds. The only area where this book could be considered lagging is the fact that it does not offer a lot of data on the sales of cars in different countries. ...if you have been waiting for a book like this for a while the... price will not discourage you. ... More of a picture book
This book has a lot of photos of beautiful Mustangs.If you are looking for a book to see some restored Mustangs, than this is the book for you.However,I thought it would be more of a "how to" book.The title is somewhat deceiving, it's not really a guide to restoring your car.

The must have book on restoring 1964 1/2-1966 Mustangs
Its about time that these "Original" series book included Ford Mustangs.What a gem of a book! Its a whole book of colour photos throughout showing details on the 1964 1/2-65-66 model Mustangs and even Shelby Mustangs too.This is an amazing reference book for owners and enthusiasts of Ford Mustangs.
This is THE Book to have as your Reference Guide!!
I've been a fan of the Mustang since I owned my first '65 Fastback in late 1968. Have been interested in restoring them since the mid '90's and have been saving articles and buying books on how to restore them for years. The problem is, no one book can cover everything............, but this book has come the closest to hitting on more aspects of the origianlity of the early '65's through '66 Mustangs and even some info. on the Shelby's. Adler's Duesenberg
Dennis Adler's Duesenberg follows his basic formula for a book, a very competent photo album with little or nothing in the way of historical insight. He regurgitates information found in other sources and often repeats erroneous information. He performs no primary research nor provides information to make this book an important addition to an automotive library.

The glory days
While a number of books have been done on this most classic of all American cars, this is surely the best. Adler does fine photographic work as is abundantly evident here, and the combination of wonderful color photos and a solid text provides a good record of the Duesenberg output, from the little-remembered Model A of the early 1920s to the quintessential Model J (and later SJ) of 1929 to 1937 when the whole firm was shut down as part of the wrapping up of E.L. Cord's auto empire. While they would probably be bears to drive compared to the power-everything we have these days, no current car has the cachet of these huge and heavy but lovingly designed and built motorcars. And they could move---over 100 mph with motors seemingly offering too little horsepower. The handsome coach work pictured on these pages (none of it, of course, the product of the Indanapolis-based Duesenberg factory which provided only the chasis---and that for about $8,000 pre-Depression dollars) really underlines what bygone days these are. In all, a handsome record of a glorious car . . .

A nice book, but....
Quite a heavy and cumbersome (due to its shape) book to read whilst sitting in an armchair.Some superb photos, lots of info on Fred & Augie, EL Cord and the personalities involved, the coachbuilders, etc. But nowhere does it tell us aspiring Duesy owners what they're like to drive, is the gearbox really a pig, are the controls light, and how quick they are, etc. Or does nobody actually dare to drive them these days ? ... 300- King of the MOPARS.
Having always admired the mighty HEMI motor and now awaiting delivery of a new 300C SRT-8 it was a terrific book to read in depth from the origins of the 300 series to the current model 300C with plenty of specifications, performance details and options available at the time. I did not realise how few were actually built and to continue as long as they did simply would not happen today.Plenty of photoes both period and current made a very enjoyable book for any car enthusiast and not just the Hemi Heads of this world!! Interesting Book on the history of the company.
Really goes in depth on the history of the company from day one on a year-by-year basis. Very interesting read... great coffee book for any Audi Owner.

Master of The Four Rings
As the title indicates, this book focuses on the history of Audi. And what a history it is. I have read much poorer tries to explain the difficult amalgamation of The Four Rings than this one, actually the authors do avery good job in explaining the complex story. With an elegant twist theyhave separated the actual progress from the different car-models that havebeen released over the years, thus making history clearer.Read more
